Guest guest
I lieve in Tulsa, a " very Christian " town. I also have a degree in Ministry. My position is this: Why even enter the religious debate? Why try to convince people who are afraid of hypnosis to be hypnotized? Tulsa metro is 700,000 people and I named the clinic " Tulsa Hypnosis Center " with a big sign right down the street from ORU. My mom (who thinks the devil steals soauld when people are hypnotized) said, WHY call it the Tulsa Hypnosis Center???? Why not the " Tulsa Wellness Center " or something? My reason was simple: I ONLY want people who want to be hypnotized to call me! They are the people I will have success with. I called it the Tusla Hypnosis Center becasue that is what I do, and so EVERYONE who came was always hypnotized becasue they ONLY called me if they wanted to be hypnotized. And franky, I think most Christians DO NOT have a misunderstanding of clinical hypnosis, only a few narrow minded uneducated people, and they aren;t goin to change anyway. So why " get studies " and " prepare yourself to convince " when it just isnt going to happen. I don't have enough time or energy to debate people on how many angels dance on a pinhead, why the democrats suck (or vice versa) or why hypnosis is real science and not of the devil. I would just rather let the results speak for themselves and let the zealots continue living in ignorance, or I will be worn out and unable to halp the many peopl ewho do want services. I also don't debate psychologists on why stage hypnosis isn;t unethical anymore either. (Any onle notice Tulsa spelled backwards is: A Slut?) Guest guest
Not quite as fun as creating thought forms of playful monkeys and getting our waitress to smile and giggle. Hey, next time I might create playful monkeys in church and see if my fellow Christians lighten up a bit. Or would that be evil, Doc? :)Troy healingenergies- essentialskills , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: > > healingenergies- > essentialskills , " hypnosisgurus " <rkn777@> wrote: > > > > I lieve in Tulsa, a " very Christian " town. Guest guest
The more fun you generate in church the better. If we want to aspire to the light we better learn to lighten up. I do remember the Moses movie, where the people were dancing, having fun, merriment and worshiping a golden calf, and Moses threw the stone tablets at them, caused and earthquake and killed off all the evil doers. So be careful of having any fun, Troy. Guest guest
I'll call 'em Holy Giggles and let 'em ripple through the audience kinda covertly. :)Troy healingenergies- essentialskills , " sandygodheart " <sandygodheart wrote: > > , " tbm36m " > <tbm36m@> wrote: > > > > Not quite as fun as creating thought forms of playful monkeys and > > getting our waitress to smile and giggle. > > > > Hey, next time I might create playful monkeys in church and see if > my > > fellow Christians lighten up a bit. > > > > Or would that be evil, Doc? > > I do remember the Moses movie, where the people were dancing, having > fun, merriment and worshiping a golden calf, and Moses threw the > stone tablets at them, caused and earthquake and killed off all the > evil doers. > > So be careful of having any fun, Troy. > > Sandy > > > :)Troy > > > > > > healingenergies- > > essentialskills , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001@> > > wrote: > > > > > > healingenergies- > > > essentialskills , " hypnosisgurus " <rkn777@> wrote: > > > > > > > > I live in Tulsa, a " very Christian " town.
