NO, it did NOT all start with huna.

The concept of Huna is very recent and was made up by a tall white

guy.

The huna we have now was orginally started in the 40's from the

research Max Freedom long did with Hawaiian Voo doo, Egyptian

Mythology, reseach done by Jose Silva, Radionics, Psychic adapts,

blab, blab, blab...

He did publish that information under the " banner-head " of " Huna " and

he did copyright the name " Huna " .

Other people have jumped on Max's band wagon and now call what they

do " huna " , even though it is something else like Reiki wih a dash of

Hawaiian Mysticism (Tad James), or fluff, or new age non-verifiable

crap.

Two of the best books for seekers on the truth on the " teachings of

the Kahuna " are " Hawaiian Antiquites " and " The Kahuna Socerers of

Hawaii " .

I do like Max's 7 books, and I've studied them intensily since the

late 60's. I've also edited them down to their fundamental teachings.

A good book on that is William Glover's book. It's short, precise and

full of workable mind technologies.
