The ego? Freud?

His stuff was deemed non valid except, for historical studies, back in

the 40's.

 

Self esteem is very important. Living by an ideal is very important.

Knowing what you want, is very important. Knowing what you don't want

is very important. Knowing what to do to get what you want is very

important. Noticing if what you are doing is giving you what you want

or more of what you don't want is very important.
