Then I'll let the group help out and give some more of what NOT to do, or what TO do. Their choice. I've found out through much experience with teaching Remote Influence (Distance Healing is a form of Remote Influence)it's wise to know that the sword cuts both ways. When they give some more, then I'll look at them, and give more. Is that okay? Let's start with " intention " . If someone's intention is to have you not die of cancer and they pray for you with that type of thought form... ....Their prayer just installed cancer into your subconscious mind. Now the " sweet lady " that told me she would pray for me, was using tht phrase as a " put down " . She was intentionally attempting to belittle Jack and I because the " package " was 4 days late. So, in her case her prayer was JUDGEMENTAL. Which is also bad for the person being prayed for. Group? Any one want to jump in with 2 more? Then I'll do two more. John M. Guest guest
There's a story of a medicine man who " prayed rain " he went up on the hill, went into state and felt and saw and smelled the rain pouring down. It rained. That's how I do distant healing. I used to pray in a state of " no rain " and pray for it to happen until I learned otherwise. Guest guest
When I became ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome friends sent me tons of energy. I was almost vibrating with it, but it didn't help because what I actually needed was rest, not energy. It made me reconsider sending energy to people especially people with things like cancer. What if random energy helps the cancer grow? Now to send healing I just visualize love and light glowing around them and try to send the energy in the form of strength and courage and calmness. I also pray that the universe recognises the person's need for help and sends whatever is needed for the highest good. I agree with Troy that it's best to think positive with healing. Think of what you want for that person rather than what he or she may be lacking. Bonita
Guest guest
A couple things came to mind... 1) DON’T try to do any type of psychic influence/healing if you’re in a bad state of mind. Don’t try to do any healing if you’re WORRIED about the disease, if you’re ANGRY at the person (consciously or subconsciously), SCARED about what will happen if you fail, ANNOYED that you feel obligated to help the person, etc. Your subconscious intent will override any conscious intent you might have. 2) Instead DO use EFT or IDD or some other method to clear out any worries or counterproductive thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that might work against your goal. 3) DON’T tell anyone what you’re doing! This will protect you from any potential trouble with the law and will also prevent any accidental “psychic attacks” from happening i.e. “That’s bullshit, that psychic stuff don’t work...” or “That guy’s doing black magic I better get my Prayer Group to pray to Jesus to stop him.” 4) DO make sure your energies are running correctly. Do energy drills to clear and energize yourself before and after your healing work. Before, because you can’t heal the other person if you’re screwed up yourself. After, just in case you picked up some residue from the other person (not sure about this, I’ve heard different things from different people, but better safe than sorry...). 5) DO make sure you’re at the correct state of mind, i.e. Physical relaxation, brainwaves at Theta with whole brain hook up. 6) DO review any past successes beforehand to make sure your energy field is attracting success. 7) DO make sure to take good notes and have a verification system so you know you’re not deluding yourself (big problem in this type of community), you see how you can improve, and making sure you focus on your successes so you can train your mind and energy field to be successful. That’s all I can think of for now. -M On 5/21/08 1:02 AM, " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: mindmastery-essentialskills <mindmastery-essentialskills%40> , " sam58fagone " <sam58fagone wrote: > > Prayer is a spiritual type of BLESSING when done correctly... > > > ...and a form of PSYCHIC ATTACK when done incorrectly. > > > Most people do NOT know how to pray correctly and even though they > > mean well are actuallly HARMING those they pray for. > Doc, can you give us the in's and out's of how to do a healing prayer > in an effective manner? > > Your post intrigued me. > Sam Hi Sam, Here's a couple of things about what NOT to do.
