Thank you Gloria,

What is interesting is that we have known for years what a 'belief'

can do...

....except for those that ignore the facts and the preponderence of

evidence...

> " It all boils down to expectation. If you expect pain to diminish,

the >brain releases natural painkillers. If you expect pain to get

worse, >the brain shuts off the processes that provide pain relief.

Somehow, >anticipation trips the same neural wires as actual

treatment does. "

" Expectation is a belief that X will work for you (one of many

different types of beliefs)... "

....and more importantly we have know that to install a belief into

ourselves or into someone else, it's nice to know their 'reality

strategy' and the submodalities of that strategy.

Otherwise you seem to beating your head against a brick wall, or even

worse, THEY will seem to be beating their heads against a brick wall.

It's very easy when using those " unique to them " submodalities, to

install in a conversation a 'reframe' or a pre-frame that fits

their 'reality strategy' so that whatever you choose to do to with

the Energy Psychology of choice (or the Energy Medicine of choice)

seems to work magically.

Funny how that works.

One of the few books that actually give the " know-hows " of that type

of belief intervention is " Beliefs " by Robert Dilts.

The how-to's of that book go way beyond my limited attempts to praise

it/them.
