Guest guest
Hello; I came across something the other day that I had to chuckle about and thought you might enjoy. Lately, I've been studying about Machiavelli. It's just something I always was interested in. At one time in his life, he left Flourence(exiled)to go back on his small farm. Once there, he was quite bored with the chores, so he went in the afternoon to the local pub to have some wine and talk politics with the other people. After that, he would come back home, go to his basement to switch out from his working clothes and into a set of formal attire. He would pull out a set of books from ancient times and start reading. Niccolo claimed to, in his mind, go into a hallway were the classical writers and thinkers of Greece would meet with him. He would have a dicussion or two about what was going on in modern times and asked them what they thought. He always said the answer's he received were one's not of his mind, but the mind of the people he would talk to. After a few hours, he would come back out and get ready for bed. What does this have to do with anything you might ask? I don't know. I'm just happy Doc taught these skills to me and other people. Merry Christmas Scott
