Guest guest
Greetings All! Kik here. Now that I have a somewhat reliable isp, it's time to play catch up. So, here we go. First- My name is Stacy but I go by Kikuno or Kik. A practicing ecclectic witch and goddess worshipper for about 13 years with a bent toward Shinto (my spirituality test said I was a druid! Go figure). I'm also a Reiki 1. My interests lie in tarot, reading for enlightenment and learning, painting and drawing, sewing, anything craftsy, gardening, and more recently in healing through reiki, herbs, and crystals. I'm really looking foward to getting to know and learn from all of you and this workshop:) I live in Vancouver, Washington, Pacific Standard. Second- The stone I would keep if I could only choose one, my sodalite heart, Blue. I've had it for many years now. Mostly it's sat decoratively on shelves or my altar, I've used it for a grounding stone and in meditation, or just plane talked to it. I guess there is some serious crystal deva in there! Third- Stones I have right now are a chakra wand that I'm not exactly sure what to do with but had to have when I saw it. An extremely clear quartz single terminated crystal with just enough inclusions to let you know it is real not manmade. I've used it as a generator and such, in my bath, whatever comes to mind for it. Various smaller stones such as lapiz, snow flake obsidian, bloodstone, blue tiger eye, hematite (shiny!), amethyst, gypsum, selenite, and a rutilated quartz that has silver threads in it instead of gold. I hope to find out what it does soon. Also, various stones found in lakes and on the ground. I always tell friends who travel to bring me back a rock! they're easy to find and inexpensive to get. Lastly- I'm oddly attracted to flourite right now. I have a small piece. But I'm kinda ashamed to say that I covet a large rectangular piece a friend of mine has. It calls me. It has the purple, green, and aqua blue in it and is about an inch and a half big. She's trying to help me find another like it. Hopefully I will soon. Question- why is dioptase such a wanted stone? Thanks for listening to me ramble:) Kik

Yeah...I've come to actually prefer inclusions, and that's part of the reason. It's also more visually interesting to me. > Question- why is dioptase such a wanted stone? LOL. It's not a stone I've seen discussed many places. We're talking about it here because I brought it up. I saw one a few months (maybe almost a year) back that belonged to someone else, fell in love with it, and have been hunting for one of my own ever since. I'm quite willing to believe that it's a personal quirk, like your quest for the right fluorite. ^_~ Love, Estara Korai
