Thanks Linda,

Yes, that would do! I am just afraid of damaging them, should they bump

against each other. Right now, most of mine are wrapped in bubble wrap

(shipping wrap), and placed in an Amazon.com box! Not the most elegant

display, but it is keeping them safe. I do find that I have to sort

through them a bit to find some of the smaller ones when I want them,

though.

I must say that a basket, or brass bowl would be nice too, but don't

they bump against one another in those?

And damage to crystals brings me to another question...if your single

terminated quartz has the point chipped off, is it still as effective?

Thanks for your patience.

Love,

Susan :))))))))))))

Hi, Susan,

Thankfully our crystal friends and co-workers don't stop working if they

get chipped, bump cracks, or points have tips broken off! I try, like you,

to make sure they are safe, but my crystals have made it very clear to me

they DON'T like plastic, so I have them in drawers and try not to jostle them

so they hit one another. Hard to do sometimes, but these fellas and gals are

very clear about what they will let me wrap them in and what they won't.

Someday I'd love to have cases with velvet to place them in. Someday.

Love and Light,

Liz

I've actually had crystal shatter when they have become so impregnated with

negative energy they could contain no more! This happened with a rutilated

quartz I sent with my husband when he had to do a one-year tour to Korea. It

was such a negative situation there that when he came home on mid-tour, I had

to place his injured quartz on a huge cluster to help it recoup from the pain

of the negativity it had had to try to protect him from. I also had a

crystal point that was programmed to protect me shatter one day as I was

talking to my boss at Nellis Air Force Base's Educational office (when I was

teaching college English on base), who was a very difficult and unpleasant

man to work for.

Since then, I have made it a point to give my " protector " stones a periodic

rest along with regular salt water, Sun, or Moon cleansing " baths " to remove

excess stress and negative energy from them. What a lesson I learned -- that

these stone's entities do need us to help them as they work to help us. We

need to protect them, nurture them, cleanse them, and allow them to rest on

occasion as well.

Welcome Susan.

Tumbled stones in a basket or a bowl do not usualy damage each other

and there does not seem to be a problem with the energies conflictiting

either

Crystals points sometimes will chip if piled together

I get some damage / changes no matter how careful I am sometimes just

the changes in the atmosphere is enough to cause a crack or seperation

and I do not seem to get significantly more damage/change in the stones

that are less carefully treated

I placed each stone all seperate and protected there would not be any

room in my house to walk

While some teachers say that the points must be perfect and un marred

that has not been my experience as far as minor chips and breaks.

Chips and damage that significantly alter the face do often change the

effectiveness of the crystal When damage is minor clearing charging

and energeticaly restoring the crystal is sufficient but if a channel

crystal for example crystal loses one of the faces that define it as a

channel crystal I would not consider it a natural channeler anymore

however if it is in accord with the crystal it self any crystal can be

programmed for that purpose .

How you feel about it is probably the most important factor.

If you are not comfortable using one don't use it

I have been aware of cases where crystals shatter completely with the

purpose of being shared among members of a family or group and each

piece will continue to carry the energy of the whole piece
