Guest guest
Hi Fellow Members, I am a British Physicist who has recently got involved in complementary medicine . Last week I had my first Reiki healing session ,the effects on me were amazing . Anyway , I have done some work in x-ray crystallography taking the Laue photographs of the diffracted x-rays that are scattered by the internal molecular structure of crystals. This gives a measure of the layout of the atoms in the crystal lattice . I think it is interesting to point out that no perfectly formed crystal has ever been found as they all, both natural and artificial, have dislocations in the long range order of the chains of molecules that make up the crystal. Considerable effort has gone into to growing crystals in the micro-gravity environment conditions of a space station . Even here the presence of convection currents during crystal growth causes some imperfections but much less than occurs here on earth . Perhaps samples of these more perfect crystals would increase their healing properties dramatically. regards to all, Bill

My personal opinion is that perfect crystals would not probably be more effective as healing crystals than imperfect crystals and might even be less effective . I realize that's not the conventional view but my inner guidance equates the chips and inclusions and distortions of form with learning with experience and wisdom Of course being created in space would be experience too Peggy > -- Huna, Angels, Crystals, fairies, the aura, Reiki manuals, spirituality} http://www.geocities.com/solarraven/index.html Sparrows Fairyland} art http://www.geocities.com/pjentoft/index.html Spirited emotion} http://members.tripod.com/~sunsparrow/index.html Heretic Sanctuary http://people.we.mediaone.net/skygreen/index.html
Guest guest
From a philosophical point of view - for a long time I searched out only perfect-looking crystals until I learned to just see what was there instead of what I wanted to see. Now they're all beautiful. Artificially grown crystals will still have at least some of their natural state's properties combined with the properties they're formed with and conditions they're formed under. So, synthetically grown quartz in zero-G, I would expect, would have a connective, expansive and cosmic feel to it, probably not unlike a meteorite (which has a wonderful feel because of its crystalline metal.) Guest guest
Bill - how would you suppose we could measure the subtle energies? I believe the answer lies in the ability to scan for harmonics of specifiable orders, i.e. the patterns of 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th etc order harmonics. What do you think, based on your physics knowledge? - wffagan Friday, August 10, 2001 11:12 AM [CrystalHW] Perfect crystals Hi Fellow Members, I am a British Physicist who has recently got involved in complementary medicine .
