I have blue & brown, have heard there is green but never saw it. I was told that for a long time these lovely stones were created in only one place, by monks in Italy, and that a short while ago a Japanese group became the sole source. It may all be myth, but it's interesting. In a couple of my books it says these are the only man-made stones that are useful in healing. I would think perhaps you're being drawn to the color - that the chakra of the corresponding color may be asking for some " care & feeding " . I work with stones all the time, both natural and in jewelry and I have no idea what you mean by a multi-colored tiger-eye. I have golden, red and blue tiger-eye, no multi-colored. Can you describe this stone? I always love discovering something new. Thanx, Evelyn
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I've got a quick question regarding Goldstone. I'm a beginner crystal enthusiast, and I have quite a few different crystals that I've bought in the recent past. Right now I've got a few sitting around me on my desk, as I usually do. I have a piece of Blue Goldstone and one of Brown Goldstone (no red yet). I also have many others here...a nice rutilated smokey quartz, a Multicolor Tigers-Eye, Blue Lace Agate, Rhodonite, Amazonite, Rhyolite, Dalmation Jasper, etc. But, I am DRAWN to either of the Goldstones...they feel good in my hand in a way that the other's don't. Not that the others don't feel good, or give off good energy, they do...but the Goldstone is something special for me. So, I'm wondering...what are the properties of Goldstone? Why would I be drawn to it so? It's obviously something that I need around me...but I don't know why...LOL. Anyone got some info for me? Thanks in advance! It's a stone with a combination of blue and gold...it is quite lovely. The piece I have in front of me has gold and blue stripes through it.
