Peggy - now I know why hubby Gra bought me the beautiful

rutilated quartz star!! He must be trying to ward off my wrinkles LOL

 

I have uploaded a pic to the photos although it isn't a very good

scan. The star is 3'' across the points and very heavy.

I use it a lot for powering up my healing grids as well as

for meditation. Walking inside is like entering a universe of

twinkling stars , it's very easy to get totally lost, so it's certainly

one of the best I have for de-stressing. If you put it to your ear you can

sometimes hear it singing, usually it sounds like bird song but occasionally

I can hear mellow flutes. It also gives off a smell of waterfalls - the

scent you get from a natural bubbling spring.

 

The needles are mostly silver but there are also specks of gold.

I wonder - is this mixture a normal occurrence?

Quartz is one of the most common minerals on Earth and has the greatest

number of varieties .It is made up of silicon and oxygen atoms Some

varieties form large clear crystals and others are usually made up of

microscopic crystals packed tightly into masses .

A large number of stones and crystals are in the quartz family including

some that we do not usually think or of as being forms of quartz.
