Peggy,

I'm thrilled!

I will be at Woodley Park Sept. 15th too. I'll be at my booth, MagicGems

" Intentional " Jewelry. (Not sure where yet)

Whoops, I just realised that I won't be able to participate in your

healing circle unless it's close enough to see. Well, I can certainly hope

tp meet you anyway. How about that?

Coming Out of the Broom Closet on Pagan Pride Day 2001

Austin, Texas. (September 29, 2001) – Austin Pagan

Pride Day 2001

will be held on September 29, 2001 at Garden of the

Ancients, 4800

Yager Lane in North Austin from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM.

People of all

ages and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. The event

will include

information booths, vendors and other activities

celebrating the

Autumn Equinox, a time of thanksgiving in many Pagan

traditions.

A $2.00 charge or non-perishable food item will be

accepted as

admission and donated to Capital Area Food Bank.

The International Pagan Pride Project is a non-profit

organization

dedicated to the elimination of prejudice and

religious

discrimination through education, activism, charity

and community.

Pagan Pride celebrations are held annually around the

world within

two weeks of the Autumn Equinox. Over fifty cities

participated in

2000 and this year there are 67 scheduled events in 33

states and

five Canadian Provinces.

The food drive gives participants a way to share with

those who are

less fortunate while making a positive statement about

Paganism. For

decades Pagans have been wrongly accused of practicing

devil-worship

and performing " black magic. " In reality most Pagans

enjoy a

religion emphasizing respect for nature, humanity, and

oneself.

Modern Paganism, or Neo-Paganism, is a growing

religious movement

based on combinations of ancient polytheism, modern

eco-spirituality,

and reverence for the Divine as both masculine and

feminine.

For more information about the event or about Pagan

religions, call

Aradia at 512-873-7578 or email iw_aradia.

For people who are interested in Pagan Pride Day and are in the Los Angeles

Area

It will be held on Sept. 15 at Woodley Park in Van Nuys , I will be facilitating

a healing circle /

workshop combo in the ritual area from 12:45 to 1:30 it will be energy work

rather than crystals for

the most part though my bag will probably be full of crystal companions.

This list is nondenominational by the way, members of all paths are welcome as

long as respect of

differences and politeness is observed

Luna, are you in Texas or in OC? Have you moved and I missed it?
