Greetings All!

Happy Labor Day to the US folks! I just got a piece of bronzite,

which I had never heard of before. It looks kind of pathwork painted

with tiger eye and hematite colors mixed into it. Very interesting.

Does anyone know what the qualities of this stone are? I'll try to

scan it and some others that I have when I get a chance, but I'm not

very good with that particular piece of equipment.

Hi Kik,

Bronzite

Bronzite is an iron silicate. The hardness is 5-1/2. It is a brown

variety of enstatite, with a bronzelike or pearly metallic luster.

Bronzite is most common in the brown variety pictured, but is also

in a silver variety.

Mystical Properties: Bronzite can help you to be more decisive. It

can also help people develop more courteous to others.

The site I got this from has lots and lots of minerals and rocks -

pictures and descriptions - 26 of them...
