Kyanite:

The blue color of metamorphic kyanite comes from the Fe2+ - Ti4+

intervalence interaction. Yellow green color comes from Fe3+. Sky blue

kyanite found in diamond pipes contains Cr3+.

I have some hand mined Bronze Kyantite, and the common Grey Kaynite. Both

from the NC mountains.

 

You're right about the Cross Stone: andalusite (chiastolite)

 

Kyanite and Andalusite are cousins.

 

The green I suspect to be Zoisite.

the stone looks like chrysocolla, malachite, and cuprite, to me...
