Guest guest
Hi Chris/ApalacheeSpirit, It might not be quite what you are looking for, but I have a really good book, called:- ''Foods that Harm, Foods that Heal,'' an A-Z guide to safe and healthy eating, it's by Readers Digest, and the ISBN no is:- 0 276 421930. Not only does it reference just about every food on the planet, but it also has a comprehensive reference section for symptoms and illnesses, such as exzema, cystitis, through the spectrum, to supplementary diets for crohn's disease to cancer, macrobiotic diet, etc. It might be a bit pricey, maybe check the library first, see if it's actually what you're looking for, before you buy? It's been invaluable to me, over the years, hope it helps.... Now I have a question. Does anyone know of any simple (easy to use) cheap or free programs which utilize this database? What I am looking for is the ability to input a recipe and get back a full breakdown of all nutrients from the combined ingredients.
