I brought down the Clearing the Way energy stream this morning, knowing that I

only had about an hour before I had to head to work. First my hands and forearms

became quite hot and heavy, then I fell asleep. I awoke at 9:50am, with just

enough time to walk to work and open at 10am. Haven't noticed any real changes

so far, but will certainly post them when they arrive!

Namaste,

Sally,

If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean

" brought down the Clearing the Way energy stream " ?

What did you do?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hi there,

Twitches - when we experience negative emotions, and we don't release them

by bringing them into conscious awareness, experiencing them fully, they will

be stored as emotional charges in the body. During meditation, or other

practices, these stored charges are released, resulting in twitching. If,

because of childhood survival strategies, you are one who resists, the

pressure will build, and suddenly the dam breaks, and the twitch can very

violent.

Welcome the twitches - they are evidence that you are clearing emotional

blockages, and below the surface, there's an awful lot of negative baggage to

get rid of.

I did experience a few muscle twitches....

I don't know if I would call what I had muscle twitches but often

when I meditate, I have " twitches. " These ones were in my shoulder

(at different times for each shoulder) and one foot/leg as though it

were aligning/straightening itself. As I read Susan's sharing I

remembered this. Pegasus

Thursday Night I called down this experimental energy whilst I was in

meditation, a little bit trepidatiously, as I have so much " baggage " I've

been working on healing, using Reiki and Crystals and Faerie Energy...

Gosh, I didn't see Faeries. And I believe in them! :)

I have had some weird memories in the past day, and had HORRIBLE dreams

about fighting with my Dear Hubby over something that he and I did have to

talk about, but we didn't fight!! Gosh, I must have had 5 or 6 different

argument scenes, all sorts of variations... anyway, that was weird for me.

I'm assuming that all this is part and parcel with clearing the junk out of

my energy channels, so I'll keep watching and see!

Hi Susan,

How to release stored emotional charges.

You can lie down, or do this in bed, but preferably alone. Firstly, you will

need to practice FEELING your body, if you haven't done that before. The

idea is to feel and not to think.

Do a body scan - starting at your feet allow your attention to focus on one

foot. With practice you'll find you can BE that foot. Your awareness will

be centred there instead of in your head. Women generally find this easier

than men, because they tend to feel rather than think.

Allow your awareness, your attention, to slowly scan up your whole body,

feeling each part. When you've done that, relax, and allow your awareness to

go where it wants to. It will usually go to a stored emotional charge.

There may be tension, and ache, a stifness - anything can attract your

awareness. If there is a stored charge there, you should begin to feel the

emotion that caused it. It's very important that you don't resist at this

stage. Resistance is what stored the charge in the first place. Try not to

think about the emotion - try to feel it as fully as you can in your body.

Don't judge what's happening to be good, bad or otherwise. The emotion may

be very powerful, depending on what was stored. Let it happen, if you can.

If you find it overwhelming at any point, place your hand on another part of

your body and rub hard, and FEEL what you are doing. This will ground you

and stop the emotion. You can always goes back to it again.

If you feel like crying, cry. If you feel frustration or anger, discharge

it - punch a pillow - scream into a pillow, unless you are alone and can

do it out loud. Whatever emotion you are feeling, try to release it. by

feeling it as fully as you can - and observe it, without judgement. By

bringing these feelings into conscious awareness, they will be discharged.

Watch animals. Think about a cat that chases a bird and misses. It will

shake itself, maybe spin round in circles, lick itself roughly and then curl

up and go to sleep. It doesn't store the tension - it releases it - so

that when it goes for a bird the next time, it's not carrying any emotional

baggage from the past.

Watch ducks on a pond - they'll swim around peacefully, but if one comes

too close, they have a brief scrap and separate. But then they'll shake

themselves vigorously, releasing the charge and then continue swimming

peacefully.

We evolved with a fight or flight response, the same as animals, but whereas

they can release naturally, it's not socially acceptable for us to do it. It

was fine when confronted by an enemy or say a tiger. We either fought or

ran. But you can't do that in a traffic jam, or when you're late and in a

queue at the bank or checkout, or at least you shouldn't. So we have to

develop conscious means of discharge, such as the above.

You can do this with another person, but it's not advisable. It's too easy

to discharge your emotions by directing them at another person. Do it alone

- take your time - don't try to push too far - and remember to be gentle

with yourself.

Thank you, Michael, for this insight. It resonates exactly with the way I

reconciled this experience within myself. Now, if anyone happens to know a

way to trigger further release of stored emotions in this way, please let me

know.

Thanks!
