Aloha Sara. . . Once week, ususally on Sunday, I try to do a chakra balancing.

I usually pick out 7 stones, sometimes two stones for a chakra. While laying in

a quet undisturbed area I place them starting with the 7th chakra up on location

for each chakra taking time to reflect on each. When all feel in place I

continue deep breathing until I am very relaxed and nearly asleep. Pictures

that come up during the meditation allow me to focus on 'breathing in the

present, releasing the past'. It's been very effective for me and I find when I

don't do my regular Sunday routine, by Tuesday I am in need of stopping

everything to do this. My website has quite a bit of informtion about Chakras

and choosing stones for Chakra balancing. At about Chakras you can click at

bottom for each information on each chakra. There is A-Z Properties that gives

information on properties on any stones and associated Chakras. The golden rule

in choosing is always 'intuition, attention and

intention' and it's important to remember that there is no correct or incorrect

choice. Using a pendulum can also be a useful tool when in doubt, but I still

feel that intuition rules.

The two stones I use most often for Solar Plexus are Citrine and Pyrite.

Citrine has a sunny energy that dispels negativity and I find helpful when

dealing with issues of lack of self confidence. Pyrite feels protective when

dealing with negative energy coming from outside sources. If I feel like my

entire body is affected I usually hold a piece of black tourmaline in left hand

and a clear quartz point in right (my dominant hand). If I can find the time to

sit and mediatate with them, I put them in the appropriate pockets and let them

travel around with me. These lst few days have been very growthful (aka

stressful) for me and that got me throught the day yesterday. Later in day a

breakthrough in understanding something that was causing me a lot of grief came

and I'm sure was related to effects of stones. They truly are loving and the

wise ones and I can't imagine my life without thier loving counsel.

Hope this is helpful! Blessings! In Light. . .Skye / Heart of Maui

While I do not have a layout to offer, I can offer crystal suggestions that

work for me. My solar plexus is my biggest problem chakra. Terminated yellow

calcite coupled with Danburite can really " pack a punch " . Literally knocked

the wind out of me on one occasion. If you do not have or cannot find

terminated calcite a rough or even tumbled piece is certainly fine, possibly a

little

less aggressive.

Blessings to your eve.
