Guest guest
I have deleted this poll. This group is open and friendly to members of all religions but discussion and enumerating specific religious and spiritual paths does not in my opinion serve the highest good . We do have a serve the highest good and do no harm credo .There are members of a great many spiritual and religious paths on the list . I have a formal Buddhist background but currently practice a nature centered spiritual path . Most of the files are not path specific Peggy Jentoft
Guest guest
It was good that the poll was deleted. Relgion clouds far too many issues and there are too many wars and people being oppressed and tortured in the name of religion. We should move beyond these views and concentrate on our Higher Power who's name every religion is about. Love & Light Marjory

Guest guest
I don't understand why you deleted this pole! Religion may not be something you feel you need in your life, but I do, and I just wanted to know how others felt. I am tyring to figure things out right now, and I want to learn about everything. I think that that way a majorly mean thing to do, considering the fact that you can not speak for everyone. If everyone does not want to express their religion, then so be it, I was just curious. Please look into your heart, and realize that that was a mistake. Crystal healing, is indeed a belief, and if you descriminate to others, well even I a 14 year old girl can see that that is wrong. -Michelle --- rosequartz <rosequartz wrote: > I have deleted this poll. I have over the course of the last month seen 4 of the lists I was on become so embroiled in religious argument that they were closed by the list owner I have recently d from several others that fell to arcane theological bickering . So even with Mercury direct I simply do not think it is an auspisious subject at the current time . Generaly we don't discuss religion , politics , income opportunities or life insurance on this list Peggy Jentoft >> >> >> >> >> > > > > > Calendar - Free online calendar with sync to Outlook. >http://calendar. > > > >
Guest guest
thankyou Peggy ...maybe new members need to be moderated for a while as I do with my own small group ....it is more work but cuts the wheat out from the chaff as does asking for an introductory email ...no email no membership .....anyway just some thoughts and thankyou for removing the poll it is inappropriate and does like you said only encourage arcane discussion thanks Fiona x www.redvelvetuk.com www.redvelvetuk@... womens menstrual well-being, Pleasure Puss cloth pads, Mooncup, and other related goodies - rosequartz Tuesday, June 03, 2003 12:42 AM Re: [CrystalHW] New poll for Shelly Llewellyn wrote: >I don't understand why you deleted this pole! >Religion may not be something you feel you need in >your life, > Spirituality is an important part of my life and can be of great value to everyone The create poll feature was supposed to be open only to moderators and the setting was somehow accidentaly changed. Guest guest
Perhaps anyone who feels they have something to say about thier religion can e-mail Michelle with an overview of what they think. Then if she finds it interesting she can enquire. I must say that I agree that religion is a huge subject and without a group dedicated to it clouds can appear around the original intention of the this group, but I do think when a mind asks a question any who can help to answer should. I don't think it was mean although I don't really want to get into that I just think that moderators have to do what they think is best for the group. I'm sure it is the last thing that anyone on this groups wants to stifle learning or to prolong anyones journey. Personally I have learnt so much from this group and would be very aggrieved if it had to close. The way things have been so far we have had such a huge variety of subjects within context I'd like to take this opportunity to say this is the best I've ever been a member of and I'm sure this is in no small part to the efforts of Peggy.
