I can buy a stone from anyone, but I'm not there yet enough to know what to do with it. I primarily buy from one man who is the guru of stone spirits, and he has been my teacher at the same time. I have a great collection now, and I'm learning how to use them. That is the important thing to me. That doesn't mean that you can't get real stones and help from eBay sellers, but I think that you're taking a bigger chance. Anyway, hopefully we all get what we need and what we want! Best... Guest guest
Another problem with buying them online, is that they can be outrageously priced--whether the prices get trumped up on auction sites with so many bidders, or the 'gurus' charging an arm and a leg sometimes (not all do, but some I've seen. . .*whew* I could buy furniture for what they charge!). I liked the site that was just sent in--some very nice celestite there! If you're looking for tumbled stones, I hear that Whispered Prayers online site has nice tumbles. . .haven't bought anything from them myself, but they have good prices too. It is a wiccan store, but that shouldn't compromise your religion any, if you are not of the same belief system. http://www.whisperedprayers.com/ Blessings to you & yours, Ahreinya
Guest guest
*nod* Auction prices can get high, but Ive also seen stones at stores and shows that have had a hefty price tag on them. I've also gotten some amazing deals online. It's of course a personal preference, like all things. Purchasing online has just been the most consistantly positive and roductive for me, which is why I mentioned it to the group. But I do agree with both of you. Of course different people have different ways they prefer to do things, and every coin has two sides, and it's good to view both. =) In Peace Jessica Calendar - Free online calendar with sync to Outlook. http://calendar.
