I read about book on Crystal healing,but I'm skeptic. Does it really

work?

Hi Gina, Well, after you separate curing from healing you can see how stones aid

us in " our " healing process. I know I am a healing in process and I have turned

to the energy or spirit within the stones to help me. I had such a dramatic

happening of this following the removal of my right kidney that had housed a

grapefruit size malignant tumor where I was in such pain I could not even

scream. I could only barely pant. When I came home the pain continued and I

could not sleep hardly at all and had to take pills todo so. I refused pain

medication as I wanted to heal as fast as possible. I had been on morphine but

now at home wanted to help my body as best I could. It was at this time that a

friend gaveme a piece of amethyst. I was holding it against my abdomen and dozed

off only to be jolted awake with a pain spasm. I then noticed that the area

around that geod piece was pain free...and so , yes, I can say at that moment a

skeptic changed into a searcher and I continue to do so. Have you ever had

someone offer you healing with their stones either in person or long distance?

It is a great experience once you open to the possibility that all things are

possible...including healing with the energies stored right here on our

planet....give it a try . Judy

Hi, Gina - Just read your e-mail. My belief is that crystal healing does

work but that each of us has to decide what suits us personally in using

crystals. I feel that we attune to the energies of particular crystals and

that they amplify our own energies to bring about the self-healing process.

With the fibromyalgia I have, my memory is badly affected, and I used to try

hard to remember the particular qualities associated with stones but couldn

t, which caused me a lot of stress and frustration. Then I decided that the

lesson for me is to stop relying on outside information and to go within. I

needed to listen to my intuition and go to the stones I'm drawn to and then

tune in to their message. When working with other people, I choose stones

intuitively if they don't want to (and I tend to use stones in accordance

with chakra colours although not always, I go with what comes up), or else

if people are willing I get them to choose their own stones and then work

with the stones and people to read what the purpose of the stones is. From

the message re attacks on alternative health supplies, it appears that this

is worldwide as my friends have informed me that there is a massive attack

on complementary health supplies in Australia and it is also lurking in the

European Community. My own feeling is that it is pushing us to listen to

our own inner voice and develop our intuition so that we can develop

self-reliance in healing. By the way, healing does not necessarily mean

curing. Healing can lead to emotional and spiritual release, and hence

empowerment, love and peace, although not the disappearance of the physical

symptoms, but that may happen too. It is not a failure if the physical

illness does not appear to disappear as healing happens at unseen levels and

may resolve problems at a much higher level. Hope that helps, but decide

for yourself what appears appropriate. This is just a suggestion.
