Question on kidney stones - VERY LONG response

> Does anyone have recommendations on crystals to use on kidney

> stones? Specifically Cysteine stones if it makes a difference....

 

I am amazed at the synchronicity of life, the way the Dance unfolds

in perfection. While I have been a member of this list for some time

this is the first chance I've had to visit in many, many months since

my own list and personal and professional work with the stone spirits

keeps me extremely busy. Yet, this morning the stone spirits asked me

to visit this list specifically and I come upon this post first

thing.

 

I have walked with kidney stones for 15 years or more. Though I have

a fairly unusual case history with them, I have worked with the stone

spirits for some time specifically for kidney stones.

 

There are a number of spirits I can share from my own experience.

Know that your heart will recognize the rightness of these in your

own situation and that your knowing is perfect in this and all

things.

 

I believe that in order for meaningful and lasting healing to occur

that we must address the issue on all levels of being, from the

physical to the spiritual. The physical, as you likely know, is the

final expression of the other aspects of Self that are out of balance

or in a state of dissonance. Healing, as I have come to understand

and embrace it, recognizes, touches, honors and heals all levels.

 

I also believe that each individual has their own road to healing,

their own reasons that the dissonance happened to begin with. Unlike

allopathic medicine that tends to prescribe across the board,

vibrational or spirit-based options should more carefully consider

the individual essence of the person involved. We each have a song

that will heal us and discovering that song individually is

fundamental to the healing work for self, others and World.

 

I can share briefly about some stone spirits that have been

instrumental in assisting me in my own healing dances.

 

Mochi Marbles - these grounded spirits spiral light in and through

our bodies, from our physical body to our spirit. They anchor us to

the Earth Mother for healing and then infuse us with the Light of our

spirits, opening spirals of healing from expanded aspects of ourself.

They are also extraordinary at pain relief. Simply holding them

invokes their energies and calls them to Dance with us. Rolling or

holding them over an area in pain is also exceptionally helpfu. I

have worked with people relative to their healing and spiritual

unfolding for over a decade and these spirits never fail to amaze me.

I have seen some truly extraordinary and miraculous events inspired

and supported by the stone spirits of Mochi Marbles.

 

Ajoite in Quartz - Ajoite embodies the medicine of freedom, of

opening that which has been closed, of releasing fear and making way

for Love. Ajoite is a Copper based stone spirit and Copper is the

essence of alchemy. Healing is a form of alchemy, of changing that

which is out of balance to an elevated, healthy and more balanced

something. Kidney stones, when understood metaphysically, are about a

holding on, a repression of something to such a degree that this

something crystallizes in our bodies. Ajoite touches us gently,

reminds us that we can be free the instant we choose and that we may

release, let go and let flow.

 

Yellow Calcite - The stone spirits of Calcite, specifically Yellow

Calcite, resonates to our mind and the way we arrange our ideas and

beliefs. This is fundamental to healing because if our beliefs are

causing dysfunction and dissonance, preventing healing from

happening, then we must meet them, see them, embrace them and work to

transform them. The stone spirits of Yellow Calcite allow us to have

a greater understanding of and access to the way we process beliefs.

The very act of placing greater consciousness on this area of Self

brings more illumination, but when Yellow Calcite is paired with the

spirits of Herkimer Diamonds (specifically those from New York)

greater light can be shed in order to allow us to see more precisely

where our beliefs are impacting our physicality. Note: In my

experience the light to medium Yellow Calcite has a great resonance

with both the mental body and the kidneys than do the darker colors

that approach the amber/golden spectrum.

 

Dioptase - Another copper based mineral and healing spirit

extraordinaire. While Ajoite in Quartz opens us once again, Dioptase

steps in and begins the actual transformation. Resonating profoundly

to the heart center and to our emotional body, Diotpase helps us to

change the way we handle emotions, which in turns effects our

kidneys. If we understand emotions to be an expression of the water

element within us and understand that the kidneys process the flow of

water through our bodies we can see why it is important to address

patterns and practices within the emotional body in order to bring

about a true healing. When placed at the heart center the stone

spirits of Dioptase work tirelessly with a willing individual to

bring about change. When paired with Malachite, yet another copper

based stone spirit, the medicine expands exponentially. With Dioptase

at the heart and Malachite at the solar plexus a powerful cleansing

is initiated where repressed emotions are purged from the bodies

(Malachite) and shifts are made in the way we handle emotions, giving

us new opportunities to express in healthier, more supportive ways

(Dioptase).

 

Cave Pearls - Although they're exceptionally rare, they are also

exceptionally powerful. These stone spirits are concretions that form

in sub-aqueous conditions in caves. They literally are born in pools

of water and are either Calcite or Aragonite, both Calcium Carbonate.

Between the water element and the presence of Calcium there is a

great resonance between these spirits and the kidneys. They are also

powerfully healing and while the scope of their medicine is beyond

what I can cover here (it took a 10 or 11 page write up that I did in

order to even cover the basics), suffice to say that they are some of

the most potent stone spirits I have ever had the honor of dancing

with. They are clearing and balancing, taking us deeper within

ourselves to the seed of dis-ease so that may see it for what it is,

past illusions and into the core of Truth. From there these

profoundly gentle and loving spirits begin working co-creatively with

us toward healing.

 

Azurite - Once again a copper based mineral comes into play. The

pattern is that Copper embodies alchemy, which is fundamental to

healing. The darkest of the Azurite spirits are most powerful in this

healing work because they take us into our subconscious and

unconscious realms, addressing beliefs held there that flavor the

whole of our experiences in our lives. They are also purgative in

nature, but on a mental and psychic level - similar to the purging

action of Malachite, though on other levels.

 

Hematite - The beauty of Hematite's medicine in this specific

instance is that these stone spirits reveal to us the oracular nature

of life, which includes the oracular nature and message of dis-ease.

When we come to understand that all pain and dis-ease is a

communication from the Self to the self then we can understand why we

are walking with this dis-ease and what it has come to teach us. The

body's wisdom, which is vast and awe inspiring, is complex at times

and sometimes it may not be immediately apparent why we're in a state

of dis-ease. Hematite roots us into our body, asks us to be

courageous and to face the roots of our present condition. In that

way we are no longer victims to something, but rather we can dance in

co-creative partnership with our condition to learn, to grow, to

balance and to heal. Imagine the polished surface of Hematite to be

life's mirror and you will come to understand the " why " of the Now.

 

Rose Quartz - Though all too often overlooked, these stone spirits

remind us to be gentle with ourselves during healing, to allow

ourselves the loving space necessary to be " in process " and to extend

gentle love to ourselves all the while. Rose Quartz reminds us so

simply that in each moment there are two choices - Love & Fear. When

we choose Love we move toward balance and healing and when we choose

Fear we move away from it. When we're in pain, especially during a

kidney stone attack, the more we can choose love - even for the pain -

the more we can move toward healing in the long term. Kidney stones

can be a rough process physically, so Rose Quartz reminds us to be

kind and gentle with our body and to choose Love in each instance.

The beauty is that these spirits are so understanding and even when

we forget to choose Love, the remind us again gently without

judgement.

 

Enhydro Quartz - Enhydro Quartz is Quartz with a water bubble inside.

The bubbles may be small or larger and may either move or remain

fairly stationary. Whether the bubble moves or not shifts the

medicine of these stone spirits in subtle ways, which I'll share

below. Generally speaking water is the medium of the healing spirits,

a road upon which they travel. Many indigenous traditions around the

world recognize the mystical properties of water, including its

ability to hold and transfer spiritual presence. Understanding this

Enhydro Quartz allows us to co-create a healing space around or

kidney and our stone, protecting it in a womb-like state as expressed

through the water bubble within the crystal. In this space our

healing spirits, guides, totems and allies are called forth through

our prayers and conscious invitations and the enter that space to

bring healing. If the water bubble within the Quartz do not move then

it is perfect for establishing this womb-space. Should the water

bubble move then its medicine moves into a more active mode of

working to clear a stone from the body by flushing it out. Holding

the Enhydro Quartz with a moving water bubble over the area with the

stone and gently and respectfully moving it back and forth - allowing

the water bubble full range of movement - is a simple way to help

bring this about.

 

Turquoise - Another copper spirit of great alchemy, the stone spirits

of Turquoise embody the essence of " expression as a road to healing. "

In this way Turquoise asks us to express that which we have been

holding back in order to bring healing. Opening the throat center and

connecting us with the fullness of our self, the stone spirits of

Turquoise allow us to speak honestly and candidly, to bring healing

as the words flow from us. If kidney stones can be understood to be

crystallized expressions of that which is held back, Turquoise works

to express that which has been retained. Though extremely rare and

often expensive, Turquoise will form natural crystals from time to

time. They're tiny and amazing and worth every penny spent on

adopting them as they're the highest expression of Turquoise medicine

available to us to date.

 

Laser Quartz - This specific formation of Quartz crystals blesses us

with an intense, focused and highly concentrated expression of Light.

Though powerful these stone spirits can support the process of

breaking up the stone when directed specifically to the kidney area

while asking the spirit of the stone to assist in this work. Quartz

is the crystalline expression of Divine Light on the Earth Mother and

Laser Quartz is the focus and concentrated transmission of that Light

to all who dance with these spirits.

 

A quick note... After working with the stone spirits for nearly 13

years now I have come to recognize and honor them as being spirits -

alive, sentient and fully conscious. I don't not view them as " tools "

or " things " to be used, but rather as allies and family members to

live and Love with. For that reason you hear me speak of them as

spirits because that is what I have found them to be. I offer this

because the more we work with the stone kingdom in respectful,

honoring and sovereign ways the more everyone expands and evolves and

benefits. If we can break away from the idea of " using " crystals to

living and dancing with them co-creatively the spectrum of healing

and potential that opens to us dramatically and geometrically expands

in ways well beyond words.

 

There is actually so much more I could share about this, including

some earth work, dances with totem spirits and more, but I'm unsure

what would be considered off topic and out of respect for the list

I'll refrain from going too far off the topic of stone spirits. I

also have some herbal remedies that have helped me a great deal over
