Greetings Everyone!

 

I’ve just joined this group and have been enjoying reading the archives and

others’ postings. I’ve recently become very interested in crystals and stones—I

dream about them and feel incredibly drawn to them now. Sometimes I feel like

I’ve crawled deep inside the Goddess, Mother Earth, and have just discovered Her

beautiful, awe-inspiring “treasures” in the crystals and stones as I am learning

about them. I’ve come to this point in time and space ready to open myself to

the wisdom and energies of the crystals in a rather roundabout fashion. As a

teenager, I was devoted to my spiritual growth and I became quite open; I had a

Kundalini rising experience (although I didn’t know what was happening to me at

the time), after which I was clairvoyant and psychic, regularly “seeing” future

events, having precognitive dreams and so forth. Alas, being the teenager that I

was, I took Spirit’s blessings for granted. I thought I needed to “go get a real

job,” and as I became more entrenched in the

material world, I lost (dulled?) all my psychic sensitivities. It’s been a long

road to freeing myself from my own constraints. Through it, I’ve found my way to

the Craft, and have been joyfully practicing as a solitary now for just over a

year. I’ve been reading tarot cards now for about 15 years; it’s been my one

constant link to Spirit. I’m an avid reader and I enjoy daily meditation as

well. I’ve renewed my commitment to my spiritual development and I hope to

re-awaken my psychic sensitivities as well. (The few people that I’ve spoken to

about this said that once one “shuts down,” it takes quite a while to open up

again…) Anyway, I’m looking forward to learning from and sharing with this

group. I’m hoping to be able to attune to the crystal energies and to work with

them. By the way, I live in South Florida with my husband and our 6 amazing
