Last year a dear friend of mine came here from Australia to help me hand bind the first 100 copies of my little book. We then went walk about for a couple of weeks down the Oregon coast. I live just outside of Portland. We stopped one day and took the mail boat run on the Rogue. Just loved it. Trying to make time to get my husband down there to enjoy the beauty of it all. Glad to have you here, crystals and stones have the most wonderful energy. I have a piece of petrophied (sp) wood and it looks like the face of an ancient bird was painted on it..A friend did cut a slice off of it for me and it goes clear through...It is just beautiful.. Found a piece of jadite in a small creek out side of Roseburg and it is shaped like the head of a bear, and that was a thrill for me as Bear is my power animal. Mouse is my totem and they sure fit me so well. opps off on another topic. However welcome. Sorry about your disability, I have Fibromyalgia among other goodies. So know restrictions.... Guest guest
Hello Regarding Huai Hua, it is used to stop all kinds of bleeding:haemastasis, nose bleed, blood in urine or stool as well as hemorrhoids. Traditionally it also is given for bleedings during pregnancy. supposedly it works best for bleeding in the lower san jiao (warmer)e.g. intestinal bleedings. Its nature is cold, so it works best for bleedings resulting from excessive heat of the intestine and heat in the liver. It also works good for lowering hypertension in combination with heat in the liver. It can be used as a single herb, 15gramm boiled in water taken as tea. For bleeding better use the roasted herb, to treat hypertension use it raw. Just be careful using it during pregnancy, it should then be combinated with harmonizing herbs and only in small amounts.
