As someone that has long enjoyed the spirit and medicine of tektites from around the world I'd be glad to share a few words on their energy, as I have experienced it. I'll share specifically about the Indochinites as other tektites carry a different frequency of energy, each one a little (or a lot!) different than the other. Indochinites are powerful physical healers, assisting to relieve pain, both acute and chronic, at a physical level. Simply holding an Indochinites over the pained area can markedly reduce the pain. Ingesting a vibrational essence respectfully co-created from this spirit is also very helpful for pain management. I have also noticed the ability to reduce swelling around an area. Either holding the tektite to the swelling or wrapping the area is a clean washcloth moistened with a vibrational essence of its energy are two ways to work with this. On a spiritual level Indochinites teach us about giving as a spiritual practice, of the blessings that come to those who give freely, from a pure heart and without expectation or condition. These spirits invoke goodness from the spiritual realm when we give to others, extending gift filled hands from the spirits toward us as we extend our hands in an act of gifting another. In a world where many modern cultures are obsessed with taking instead of giving, Indochinites teach the beauty and necessity of giving in order to remain in balance with ourselves, the world around us, Mother Gaia and the Mystery. In a related way these spirits can help reduce a selfish tendency within both adults and children. Indochinites embody Elephant medicine and offer us an energy that helps to shoulder the load during those moments when we cannot. There is a calling of support to us, of asking our totems, allies and teachers to come to our aid in moments where assistance is vital. These stone spirits offer us the wisdom that there is no shame in needing to ask for assistance, that the Mystery surrounds us with others in this and other worlds so that we may support one another. Indochinites emphasize that we were never meant to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders at all times. The stone spirits of Indochinite tektites bring us into contact with timeless wisdom, specifically the wisdom of the Sky People and the Ancestors. They teach the way to remove obstacles from our path through being open to and making wise use of this wisdom in our lives. The message is that the road can be cleared by wisdom, not be force. They remind us that it is better to resolve a situation with wisdom and thought than to allow it to get to a point where force is involved or necessary. In a related way Indochinites can assist people in dealing with issues of anger management, cooling the heated energies and impulsiveness that surrounds anger issues. The Chinese refer to tektites as " Lei-gong-mo " which translates to Thunder-God-Ink-Black Stone. Indochinites are protective, but more on a physical and mental level than on an emotional or spiritual level (which is more inherent with Tibetan Tektites). They are also a powerful talismanic spirit to guard against the damage of gossip and can teach us to withdraw our energies in a situation where others are gossiping, rather than participate or fuel it in other ways. For those that know the mysteries of rain-making, Indochinites offer a very effective medicine to increase the potency of these ceremonies and, in turn, increasing the presence and quantity of rain as needed. Finally, Indochinites can assist us in understanding the esoteric side of numerology and to know the mysteries of numbers in tangible ways. I hope that this information is useful in some way.
