Clear Quartz LIBRARY crystal is the one to use. First you must program it to

your energies, by holding it to your third eye and concentrating on it.(Is one

method) Say a special prayer of your intentions. Then it is programmed and

ready to use. Be sure to use this particular quartz EVERY time you study, and

be sure to have Positive thoughts. Crystals for memory should never be used

when you are angry! It will remember!!! The main thing to remember in using

crystals, as they pick you. You will know by resonating with it's energies.

How to Identify: Library Crystals have several, newer, flat, stubby crystals

plastered to the outside surface of the larger crystal. The overlays are not

well defined but literally are like overgrowths, sometimes looking like a layer

of thick plaster or paste on the bigger crystal formation.

Library Crystals carry information that is easier to access than the Record

Keepers, which were programed for specific people, from a prior lifetime.

Library Crystals are very good for those who wish to study. Use it with each

study, and meditation...!

Basically a good crystal book will lead you into the directions of the

properties that all crystals contain. It is not unusual to find other crystals

that aide us in helping us remember, by holding the information to us. However,

there are more than just the Library Quartz Crystal that are designed for memory

work. Proper care is also very important for all energy working crystals.

ENJOY!!!

from my heart to your heart,

Nancy

[CrystalHW] Crystal for studying/memory

Hi all,

Would anyone know what crystal(s) I should use to help me study and

memorize things for a test? I'm 61 and going back to school part

time while I work full time (yawn) and I'm finding it hard to get the

stuff I read to " stick " in this ole brain of mine. I know I've heard

about a crystal being able to help, but not sure which one. Thanks.

Hi, Lois - I'd like to suggest too that you might find fluorite useful - when

I placed a big, deep purple almost black cluster next to my computer, hey

presto, all my accounts fell into place! Other than that - what crystal are you

yourself drawn to as you might find it's something completely different to

what's usually associated with that crystal.

Love and hugs, Mo.

Carnelian helps me, as well as flourite. Flourite helps me focus which helps

me with my memory. The more scattered I am, the more forgetful I am.

Carnelian helps me to feel good about myself and about the people around me

so my creative energy flows nicely. Let us know when you find what works for

you. Pegasus

Thank you all for your responses - will have to go out crystal

shopping this week. I think I'll try Fluorite first and see if that

does the trick. School lasts through March of next year, so I'll

have plenty of chances to test it out.

Lois,

I too found myself in this same boat. It was very difficult to

remember what I had just read, let alone remember what I learned

last week. I found that when I held my tangerine quartz while I was

studying, doing homework and taking a test it made things so much

easier. Someone had told me that orange stones help with

retaining. What I discovered is that by holding the stone while I

was studying I would roll it or fidget with it and that helped

relieve whatever I had pent up inside that kept me from retaining

the information. I put the tangerine quartz close to my heart while

I was taking a test. Didn't help much the first time, the next time

I kept it out and moved it around just as I did when studying and I

aced the test.

My tangerine quartz was my " feel good " stone spirit and it felt

right for me.

Good luck Lois,

Teresa

I gave my hubby a citrine for his diabetes and was wondering if I

could borrow it or should one stone do one job only? Just learning

all this stuff :-)

Depends on whether hubby is still actively using it for his diabetes. This is

one of those subjects on which each person has their own, usually differing

views. Personally; I will use the same crystal for many different types of work

... and have not found I have had any problems.

I usually let the individual crystal spirits guide me whether they want to

work on a particular task or not
