Guest guest
I had picked up the following notes from an internet site which were having some profound truth and at the same time give a strange awakening. If we can go deeper and deeper in the meaning, lot of our unnecessary burden could be thrown away. The words are so true and convey so much that even if one can digest in a week, he will be super intelligent and can become one of the happiest man in the world. I would add one sentence from one great saint in India ~ act as if you are living the character, live like you are acting as per god`s plan. Everybody in a picture is given a certain role, your duty is only to live this character as real. leave your appraisal on god. d.k.kothari, mumbai, india > THE LESSON > * Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart. * Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments or true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. * The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. * If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about trust and The importance of being cautious to when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things. Make every day count. > Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish. * Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets. Most importantly, if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day that you live. He will only ask you to be the best Marge Smith (or whatever your name is) you can possibly be. Now the question is: how does one know which role one is supposed to play? It comes back once again to the old "know thyself!" The best tool I know for doing exactly that is astrology. I am quite willing to accede that one should not need a tool, but I do. I'd feel blind without it. Guest guest
Dear Ieneke, Man travels around the Great Awagawan, the Wheel of Life, lifetime after lifetime, experiencing the multifaceted vibrations of all created forms. The many Lakhs or cycles of the Zodiac are but experiences whirling about its center like spokes about a hub. Man cannot be himself until all peripheral illusions are recognized for what they are. Nothing that comes from us is us. Our thoughts are not us, our memories are not us, our feelings are not us and our actions are not us. Then who are we, that enigmatic beingness that all great sages counsel us to know. I am that I am and all else is but my concept of myself. I am and God IS. These two fundamental truths permeate all of life. In truth, I am all signs, I have always been here, as have you. The challenge of astrology is that it is not an invariant science as its predictions fail to take into account the play of karma. Even esoteric astrology limits itself for no prediction takes into account the variable of a changing state of consciousness. Whatever man tries to be, he is already who he is. Nothing changes. Man cannot change himself for he is changeless, an atom of God, a microcosm manifested out of the Fabric of God and of like consciousness. It is not man who changes but that with which he identifies himself. I am an apple; I am a tree; I am a man. It is man's concept of himself that determines the form and scenery of his experience. I am is changeless for it is but the ISNESS of God given individualized beingness through the Love of Its Creator. So, you might ask how does a man or woman come to know him or herself. The answer is so simple that once discovered we cannot comprehend that we slept for so long before we awakened to the reality of life. Man comes to know himself through surrender to Divine Spirit. It is the blending with Spirit, the essence of God, that brings forth from man his true Self. Divine Spirit is consciousness, the manifested Beingness of God within which we are each but a part. Man must first know himself, the part and then surrender that which he has come to know the Universal Beingness of God. In doing so, man awakens to omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence and himself becomes these qualities of God. Thus, man must first realize himself and then he can realize God. Guest guest
dt.23.1.2004 to me it is very simple. we are not perfect. daily surrender yourself to the will, care of the god and ask for his light for every step you take in life. in surrender god is compelled to guide you. he may send guidance / inspiration in different ways. you should only be alert to know it. before sleeping every day, hand over all the day`s activity to him , saying whatever way you have made me, i have done to the best of my current ability and leave it up to you to further guide me in my life. this slowly draws out god`s compassion and you start getting strange guidelines from your inner self. can you try it and share with me. d.k.kothari - Ieneke van Houten Friday, January 23, 2004 3:14 AM Re: THE LESSON OF LIFE <act as if you are living the character, live like you are acting as per god`s plan.
