Guest guest
I live in London, UK and have bought lots of stones and beads on ebay. I have been pleased with almost everything I've received. I can't recommend any one particular seller; you just have to go by what you want. Some only send to the US, but they will usually put that on their site. I use ebay.co.uk which lets you choose items which are available to the UK; I don't know what you would use for Iceland--is it recognised as Europe, probably not! Good luck! Guest guest
The sellers have boxes next to their names i believe saying how many sales they have made and how they are rated, on helpfulness, speedy sends, as too sending to Denmark i think that would be between yourself and the buyer? Guest guest
Hi, I haven't been a member of the group for very long, and have been lurking since I haven't had anything worth submitting yet. But I do sell and buy crystals on eBay, as well as from my own website so I guess this is something I can talk comfortably about. :-) eBay works on a feedback system that tells you exactly what people in the past have thought of doing business with a certain person. They also assign the feedback a number (per unique member leaving feedback) and a percentage based on how many negative feedbacks have been left. The higher the feedback number after the seller's name, the more transactions have been completed. The higher the percent (99.4% etc)the more positive transactions they've completed. This gives you an idea about their buying and selling history, a VERY important tool. Each seller also must designate where they are willing to ship to in their listing policies. Some sellers only have things available for pick-up while others will ship anywhere in the world. There are a number of sellers I would recommend on the US site (besides myself! :-}). You can do a seller's search for any names: stonepeoplesongs, crystallinespirit, stacierocks, leoleobobeo, and of course my own, talenyn. I'm positive most of these ladies will ship internationally, I know I do, stacierocks and leoleobobeo do. The other ladies are wonderful to work with, so if they don't say they do, I'm sure they will work with you. Because of the current state of political affairs, I would recommend sending anything you purchase (or sell) internationally by registered mail. I sent a package air mail to Italy on Dec 15, and it arrived yesterday...while I have sent several packages to the UK and the Netherlands in the interim and they have all arrived promptly. I hope this helps. :-) Many blessings, Mary , " crstlwnd " <crystalwind@v...> wrote: > Hi again > > I was wondering if anybody had any experience with bidding on ebay > and getting it shipped to a contry closed to Iceland (Denmark maybe) > I want to start bidding on ebay but I'm not shure who I can trust and > where to get the best deal considering posting and shipping > charges :} > Can anybody that lives close to me recomend a crystal/stone dealer on > ebay that he has good experience with?? > > Thanx!! > > Chlorite

The cost to send registered mail internationally is cost prohibitive. I have started giving my clients the choice to have it guaranteed or nonguaranteed at their own risk. That way if it doesn't show up, it is not my responsibility. I started doing this after I had a very high priced item not arrive at it's destination. Luckily customs returned it to me and I did not lose the money. Now, I have to protect myself. Guest guest
Hi Chlorite! I have yet to read the responses to this post from the other members, but I have done extensive bidding and selling on ebay. I would suggest before placing the bid, look in the shipping information (at the bottom of the auction screen) to see if the seller will ship internationally. If they do ship internationally, then I would check their feedback which is the number in the parinthasis ( ) next to their name. You can tell if they are a good seller by the feedback. Third, the higher of feedback, the better. That means they've been around for a while. Hope to have helped. Heidi
