Re Reiki Practices.

In answer to the question of self protection and of others. If you

are giving Reiki, Crystal Healing, Massage or any type of healing it

is paramount to cleanse, protect and connect yourself and your client

(s) at all times. Cleansing and protecting your workspace, in any

appropriate manner is also a must, especially if you are working in

an area that is not your healing space. Calling in guides and angels

for protection, white lighting, setting up Crystal protection grids

or whatever you feel works for you and those in your group, be it one

or one hundred and one. This is a subject that is sometimes skipped

through by some teachers, in fact some modalities will tell you just

washing your hands is suffient.

What enhances the power of Reiki, easy, Reiki. Self healing and

working on others as often as possible, strengthens your connection

with the Universal Energies and also your connection with Spirit.

Personaly I have found that being a Reiki Master has changed not only

my way of life but has had a profound on the way I conduct my Crystal

Healing treatments, I now find that I am working with different

layouts and the occasional grid.

Going back to grounding and protecting, I have actually worked out a

one day workshop that covers " Basics in Healing " and a good part of

the day is to do with these subjects, combined with meditation. As I

have found in my travels that a lot of people are reading about

healing and trying to work from a book but in their enthusiasm to get

to the " Wow this really works " bit the basics are left behind.

Just so you can see where I am coming from. My wife and I are both

Crystal Healers first and foremost but are also Reiki Masters. This

has taken around 8 or more years to get to.
