Hello people! i just joined this forum today :-)

I recently picked up a couple of crystals (or rather they picked me

up, lol) and I am wondering what is the best thing to do with

them. One is a rose quartz and the other is a carmellian. I am

carrying them both about in my handbag every day in the hope

that they are doing something good - but basically what should I

do with them??

I heard there is a special procedure for cleansing crystals when

you first get them - is this important and how do I do this? And is

it OK to just carry them about with me in my bag? Or am i

supposed to keep them next to my skin?

sorry for all the questions, as it says above, I am a novice!!

ta :-)

Hi there

welcome to the lovely world of crystals, you will find many friend in the

crystals... they're also a bit addictive... or at least I find them that

way..

My personal way of workign with crystals is to wash them if they feel they

need it (bear in mind that some disolve in water but the 2 you have will be

fine) Then I plae them in the sun for a few days.... they seem to liek that,

sort of a rest after being in the shop.

The I just carry them in my pocket. Your handbag is ok, but the crystals

really need to be within a couple of feet of you so if you leave your

handbag away from you a lot of the time you wpn't be feelign the benefit.

Also if you have a mobile phone in your bag they might not like it... sit

with the crystals and sort of ask where they want to be.... you might just

get a feeling of what they want, no specific words, go with that feeling,

don't question it however weird it maybe.

Hope this helps,

Love and light

you can also use bells or cedar and sage to clear you crystals. i myself clear

them with water and leave them out in the sun and the moon. i use the moon for

adding or subtacting as to the phase that it is in

I cleanse my crystals at a natural waterfall near my house, then I'll take them

home to leave them in the sun and the moon until I need them.
