Just needing a little information

Hello all,

I need a lil information. What are the best sites around with the best

information on crystal healing rituals and Casting Runes? Even books would help

me alot. I do rune reading and they work really well, but i just want to learn

more. There is always more to learn expecially when i am so young. Thanks to

you all how can help me!

Also i have tried Copper and Rose quartz for my muscle aches and joint pain, But

nothing has helped right now. I am about to try a bath with some oils and a

crystal in the bath. Could some one send me some information on that as well?

It s a chronic thing.

I'll leave the recommendations on Runes to someone more familiar with

current online and print resources, but there are a couple of good

books of the stone spirits that may be useful to you:

* Crystal Enlightenment - Katrina Raphael - She's actually written a

trilogy, but Crystal Enlightenment is the first volume. In Crystal

Healing (vol II) she has additonal information that may be useful to

you. Ms. Raphael has been exploring the mineral kingdom for quite

some time and her work has been the foundation for many of the books

you see today.

* Crystal Journey - JaneAnn Dow - Ms. Dow has written one of the few

original books on the stone spirits and an excellent book at that.

The book itself is out of print, but she has it available for

download on her website. As I'm unsure of the commercial links policy

on the list I'll avoid posting it, but you can do a search for her

name or the name of her book and it should take you to her site.

* Crystal Power, Crystal Healing - Michael Gienger - Again, one of

the few original books available. This is an excellent book with some

beautiful color photos and a great deal of information about various

ways to explore the magic of the stone spirits.

Also, on the subject of books, don't forget to trust your own knowing

and own listening. Even if you're just staring out on this path your

heart will still lead you to precisely the right stone spirits at

precisely the right time. Books can be helpful, but in truth the real

guide is our heart. We don't need to gather a great deal of book

knowledge to know what to do. We can just listen to the stones

themselves and see how they inspire us.

It is easy, especially with the models for learning that we inherit

in our culture, to get lost in the idea of an " authority's " idea as

expressed in books as being greater or somehow more " real "

and " right " than our own. When it comes to exploring the stone

spirits our heart has the knowing that is real and right for us,

whether or not it matches what a book says.

There is always more to learn no matter your age. I've been dancing

with the stone spirits for over 13 years now and I barely feel as if

I've seen the tip of the iceberg after devoting significant time

every single day to listening and exploring. We're all beginner's

here and we all have something to share and offer to ourselves and to

others.

I'm sorry to hear about this. You will likely get a variety of

responses from people about possible stone spirits to explore, but I

wanted to offer something in addition to those forthcoming

recommendations.

Here are a few questions that you can explore yourself that may lead

you to discovering the perfect stone spirits for you at the moment.

When you think of healing this condition what color immediately pops

into your head? It's best not to overthink it or try to force a

color. Just let the first color that comes to you be the one without

worrying whether or not it makes sense.

Does that color appear to be transparent, translucent or opaque?

Are there any other colors associated with this primary color (ie.,

blue is the, but with some subtle areas of white)?

Did the color appear to you in any particular shape (ie., a triangle,

a circle, a crystal form, etc.)?

The answers to the above may give you clues that could direct you to

the right stone spirits to assist you with your aches and pains. For

example, if you saw a deep blue color with white highlights that

appeared in a rounded form you may be seeing Sodalite.

If you're unsure about what stone spirits may apply to the colors

you're seeing you can always look through a good field guide to rocks

and minerals. There are even a few that are arranged by color. As you

look just remain open to the little signs of resonance that can let

you know you've found the right spirit. Sometimes the " aha! " comes as

a whisper, so the more open we can be the more likely we are to

recognize the stone when we see it.

An alternate possibility would be to visit a local rock and mineral

and/or metaphysical store and just walk around and look at the

various stones there with the intention of meeting the perfect spirit

or spirits that can assist you with your aches and pains. When a

particular type of stone grabs your attention then it may be a sign

that you're to explore the gifts that stone has to offer you. Don't

worry about whether or not it makes sense or whether the books say

that a particular stone can help with what you're seeking. Your heart

and the stone spirits know far better than *any* book, always.

There is the basic idea of the law of resonance. This is a

simple " law " of energy that tells us that whatever we need in each

moment resonates at a certain frequency or, in other words, sings a

certain song. The solution to what we need also sings a certain song

as well, so when we meet the stone spirit that has medicine and magic

to share with us in direct relationship to our need their two songs

meet and give us that " aha! " moment that lets us know we've found a

dance partner through this particular stone.

The beautiful part about this " law " is that it functions perfectly at

all times and doesn't require any book knowledge of stones or even

the ability to identify a particular stone in order to meet its

medicine beautifully. As long as we remain open and let the dance

unfold naturally (versus trying to force it from our minds or pick

the stones we think we need based on what we know) then it all goes

just as it should.

I hope the above is useful in some way. There are many, many stone

spirits that could assist you with your aches and pain. In truth they

all could in some way. Your heart will bring you to precisely the

right spirit, always.

Thank you so much for that information! You gave me a lot to work with and

think about. I know the stones that are for me and i wear them all the time for

wards and basic health. So when i get like this my first instinct is to wash

them, but that didnt work. I always let my heart guide me in ever descion that

i make. So its easy for me there, but being so new i second guess my self all

the time. I say i am new, but i have had this ability to heal all my life, but

i always question it because no one nurtured the idea that it was real. So I

always ask people for their opinions on this matter so i dont mess up. Did that

once still hurts! So i am just extra careful. So i am going to look at those

books and see what i can find for me. I just know that this is my area, but i

just have to learn to trust myself not to mess up again. I am rambling now, so
