Tumbled stones in a basket or a bowl do not usually damage each other

and there does not seem to be a problem with the energies conflicting

either

Crystals points sometimes will chip if piled together

I get some damage / changes no matter how careful I am sometimes just

the changes in the atmosphere is enough to cause a crack or separation

and I do not seem to get significantly more damage/change in the stones

that are less carefully treated

I placed each stone all separate and protected there would not be any

room in my house to walk

 

While some teachers say that the points must be perfect and un marred

that has not been my experience as far as minor chips and breaks. In

fact chipped crystals may help you with more healing , compassion and

sensitivity than " perfect " ones . We ourselves are chipped and dinged

and effected by our passage through life.This is part of the process of

spiritual evolution for all beings.

Chips and damage that significantly alter the face do often change the

effectiveness of the crystal When damage is minor clearing charging

and energetically restoring the crystal is sufficient but if a channel

crystal for example crystal loses one of the faces that define it as a

channel crystal I would not consider it a natural channeler anymore

however if it is in accord with the crystal it self any crystal can be

worked with for that purpose .

How you feel about it is probably the most important factor. If you are

not comfortable using one don't use it

Though of course sometimes we are uncomfortable with what we most need.

aware of cases where crystals shatter completely with the purpose of

being shared among members of a family or group and each piece will

continue to carry the energy of the whole stone or crystal.

Peggy, Just recently I had what might be a similar occurance to yours happen

to me, twice: I was showing my boyfriend some of my crystals, one is a titanium

coated quarts, and another, I had just recently found a beautiful vanadinite

crystal (it doesn't had the small druse like crystals, it is made up of

flattenend octagonal (I think, I could be wrong), crystals. Well anyways, I was

showing my boyfriend the crystals, and each broke in his hands (this happened

within the time frame of a few hours), do you think that might be because the

crystals want to be shared? I was thinking that his energy might have been too

powerful for them, or too much not on the same wavelength as the crystals, and

the friction in the energies casued them to break. I'm thinking it's more the

latter, but hoping for the former - what do you think? Could energies be so
