>>> My Left arm is really weak right now because of the

back. GRRRRRRRRR, and doctors dont help. " take this drug it will make

your back feel better and turn you into a zombie! " I went to get treated

not druged.>>

Greetings Liz,

I guess your appt didn't go too well? You said that your arm is

hurting? That is normally associated with nerves in the neck, rather than

in the lower back. The site that I LOVE is no longer functioning.....but

you were able to click on a part of the body that hurt and it would tell

you what nerve was associated. But, there are other good sites out there

for info, here are some that I have saved:

http://www.scottfamilychiro.com/info/nerve.htm#Lombar

http://www.edc.org/PainLink/plguidelines.html Lots of links on this site

http://distance.stcc.edu/AandP/AP/AP1pages/nervssys/unit12/spinal1.htm

This one is a very good *map* of the nervous system.

Please don't be too discouraged by the Dr.s and their offers of pain

meds. Sometimes, it is something simple that is causing the nerve

impingement, and if you relax and let your body do it's thing, sometime it

is able to heal itself, rather than have a very invasive procedure done,

such as surgery. Heat and cold, alternating, can sometimes clear out any

swelling that is going on.....if that is what is causing your pain. Please

let us know how things are going, sending healing energy your way!

Blessings

You are quite welcome Liz....I do hope that it helps you some. Something

else you might want to consider, that isn't stone related, is to alternate

the heat and cold on your back. If there is swelling in your back, that

may be what is causing the nerve to be impinged. The hot/cold will get the

blood flowing in that area and help move out some of the swelling. If this

continues to get worse, please don't take too long to see a MD about

it. You can cause permanent nerve damage if a nerve is impinged too

long......don't ask me how I know :) Spines are a very odd creature! If

you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Please let us

know how this went with the Selenite!
