Guest guest
Hi, I would never use salt water with jet & fuchsite, especially. Of course, I never use salt water on any of the stones. They just don't need it & it's so very harsh. I use running, clean water when I cleanse stones, then I clear them with a prayer I learned, repeated 3 times. Then I set them in the sunlight (or moonlight) to charge, depending on the type stone it is. I have never, ever found a stone that needs rougher treatment than that. They may need lots of running water, or several clearings, but they never have needed to be put in salt water. But that's just my experience. Guest guest
Colleen- > Does anyone know if Jet or Fuchsite could stand salt water? I wouldn't suggest salt water for either of these spirits as they could be badly damaged. I have seen salt water dull the surface of Jet and the Fuchsite could literally crumble apart in the salt water itself. Perhaps a more gentle cleansing, like placing these stone spirits directly on the Earth Mother for a short time, would be better suited for them. The end result is the same (if not better) and the stones aren't compromised in the process.
