Island Calcite... oh well... I don't know how it is named in english... we

call it " spato d'islanda " ... it is a type of calcite that is only found on

the isle " Islanda " in the northern Europe. It is very similar to Ulexite...

When I will be at home, as soon as I can, I will post a photo... I have also

to post a photo for Fabeku about one of my past post...

i understand your alternate name use of all the minerals except island

calcite, is there another name that this goes by. or is this just calcite

thanks for the info Eva. now my tounge is hangingout wanting some. can i but a

I will try to find a piece of Ulexite and buy for you

here in Iceland. Actually I haven't seen icelandic

calcite for some years, I don't have any myself. But

I'll keep an eye out for you

thank you for the offer to send me a piece of ulexite from iceland, but i have

plenty of it. however if you ever see Iceland calcite i have never come accross

it. love and light bobby
