Guest guest
I am one of those new folks. Around here in Maine there are no rock shops, no workshops no nothing. They have a couple big shows once a year. I found you Peggy and Fabeku and a couple other lists from where to learn. But no place in person. The big workshop in VT was very expensive and I could not take time away or afford to go to it but would have loved to. Maybe looking around your area within a couple hour radius, you could do a montly workshop and pull in many " new " interested folks. I agree, there are so many folks that are so knowledgeable like yourself, and so many more like me, learning and wanting to learn so much more from a simple, easy plateau. Blessings to you. I went through a job change and it took me 3 years to get my finances and budget to where I can handle it. Wasn't easy and lost a lot in the process, but now, phew, I can rest and we can handle most of what we need to and an occasional wammy that sets the budget wacko that month. I was also pretty thick and didn't see the signs to things, now I am looking always, thankful for the universe and her blessings to us, and sharing what I have with others. I even have had two little squirrels get my attention in the last 3 days so needed to go read up on their medicine to see what they were trying to tell me. You have many gifts and talents to share, Peggy. Wamly, Fran Does anyone have some practical suggestions for ways that I might bring income into my household so far all my efforts have been non productive. Guest guest
I want to Thank everyone for their prayers, energy , suggestions and guidance about our abundance issues. I do understand and usually manage to trust the universe and abide by the rules of manifestation pretty well yet this does seem to be an area where new aspects of the issue rise to be dealt with from time to time. My request for energy to avoid panic was do to a tendency to freak out as an immediate reaction to adding up the bills on our monthly payday and discovering that we were over 400 dollars in the hole before we bought any food. I am assured that this is more due to extraordinary expenses in August and September including a thousand dollar plumbing emergency, back to school expenses and so forth than to a permanent shortfall and that the situation is recoverable. Things have settled a bit and we did get food and have paid the mortgage and the critical utilities. I will be addressing ways to establish some income and resources on my own. and will follow up on several of the suggestions offered. I do trust the universe and have experienced great benefits. what I need to do now is establish a more stable situation and get over whatever draws drama into my life. I have taught workshops in the past and hope to be able to resume doing so in the near future. My youngest daughters spinal fracture last year had both taken the available time and attention and the physical space for workshops ( she had a hospital bed in the living room much of this previous year). but She has moved into the downstairs bedroom ( formerly the bird room) now. My life has always been somewhat picaresque and it seems like now might be the beginning of a new episode . Anyway thank you for your energy prayers and concern. This has also given me another opportunity to appreciate what we do have. Peggy Jentoft
Guest guest
Hi, You might check the NorthEast Federation of Mineralogical and Geological Societies and the Federation of Mineralogical Societies websites. There are undoubtedly rock clubs in your area. Now, I name these as a source for stones only. Chances are slim you will find someone interested in the healing properties of the rocks in these clubs, but they are a wonderful sources of stones and knowledge . My best to you, Angie M Mz Stauff <mzstauff wrote: I am one of those new folks. Around here in Maine there are no rock shops, no workshops no nothing. vote. - Register online to vote today!
