Guest guest
Eti Domb, Please keep in mind that the causes for eczema are multifactoral and include inadequate nutrient intake (especially EFAs), imbalanced intestinal flora, leaky gut, and environmental contaminants such as air pollution and tobacco smoke. There is usually a personal or family history of atopic dermatitis, which suggests a genetic predisposition or weakness. A family history is present in 65-70 % of patients diagnosed with eczema. There is also a strong connection between eczema and food allergies, and the excess intake of arachidonic acid. Foods that can aggravate inflammatory skin conditions include eggs, cow¡¦s milk, food additives, tomatoes, fish, goat¡¦s milk, cheese, chocolate and wheat. These food allergies can cause damage to the intestinal lining and dysbiosis, causing leaky gut syndrome, which in turn can lead to more food antigens and sensitivity. Therefore, elimination of foods, stress, and allergens can significantly alter the course of this disease, especially if it is supported by a clean, balanced diet and sufficient supplementation. She uses a topiical cream names Acolate which is a topical steroid. other symptoms:easily bruised, ADD, decreased sense of smell, difficulty sleeping due to itching, excessive appetite and cold hands and feet.I would love to help this woman but have never ttreated this kind of presentation before...Any suggestions as to an herbal formula??EtiHer pulses are soggy and blocked, choppy-like. The tongue is swollen, red with a greasey white coat and raised flat dots in the front. I couldn't agree more with Daniel's assessment and recommendations. I wonder if the ancient chinese had much incidence of food allergies and leaky guty syndrome. My suspicion would be no. I have not found TCM alone to be adequate in management of such cases. This is because perfect, bland, clear diet would be necessary. I have found the use of certain naturopathic supplements to be a convenient way of dealing with fact that no patient complies with such a diet for long. Thus enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and identification of precise antigens rather than wholesale elimination of certain classes of foods leads to better results in most patients. This is in addition to addressing TCM patterns with full strength decoctions. But the converse is even more true, that merely using the dietary supplement approach leads to very slow progress and often prolonged " healing crises " . Best of both worlds. Guest guest
Artzee-san, WindDancer here in tokyo... In your post you said: >> " Here's my questions, I'm right handed, is there some reason why my left hand feels the energy alot stronger than my right hand? " I too am mostly right handed, but my left seems more sensitive to vibrations...the left side of the body and the front of the body are YIN energy, that means feminine energy, that means receptive. the right side of the body and the back of the body are YANG energy, that's masculine energy, giving energy. Naturally when I scan a person before a treatment my right hand hovers neutrally over the person while my left hand scans and reads. Mostly I stay on the left side of the person to give healing as that is their receptive side. Now all things are not written in stone, so to speak, because Yin and Yang will mutually aid and change each other to create a balance, so I believe it is all relative. One such example is,as I have just mentioned right side of body left side of body etc, there is also the rlaltionship to other things, such as if we are absorbing universal life force energy from 'God', then the whole of our human body is YIN and the energy we are absorbing is YANG, so you see it is all relative. >>Also, I have a rough citrine that has strong energy and it makes the knuckles and wrist of my left have pain when I hold it in that hand. It does nothing to the right hand. I too have had similar reactions to certain stones or energies I'm reading/sensing where my hand will become quite painful. In such case we need to be flexible address the pain, maybe soon see why, and change. You should always feel comfortable in handling the stones when something is so strong, just be flexible and change, roll with it. Last question, is it alright to break your crystals apart with a hammer? While holding a clear quarts cluster I got the urge/idea/message to tape it with a hammer and knock off the extra on its side. The first wack did it and made it a single terminated point. Then I began to wonder if I should have done that. >>I can't imagine wanting to hit any of my stones with a hammer. Whenever I receive a stone or purchase a stone, I immediately thank it for coming to me and ask it if it wants to be released from all the trauma it went thru to finally arrive to me such as being escavated from the earth, tumbled or cut in any form etc.,. I always get a yes,'please clear me from these traumatic happening during the escavations etc, and please stroke me softly'. Never have I gotten a 'yeah hit me some more' reaction. Please look into yourself deeply on this issue as I think the stone wants you to realize something. love light and peace, WindDancer ===== Barbara F Matsuura Reiki Master, Shiatsu, Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan Integrated Healing Arts Centre Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 151-0053 tel/fax 03-3374-6925 mobile 090-9132-6085 http://www.naturalhealingcenter.com/creative/barbara_matsuura.htm

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your wisdom. I have so much to learn its overwhelming. Learning to listen and discern impulse from intuition is going to be difficult for me I'm sure. In time and with experience I'm sure I'll get better at it. Love, Light and Laughter, NaturzDiva (Maddy) > > > >
