JESUS PLAYED CRICKET? OR WAS HE THE FIRST KNOWN SURFER?

This has reference to Jesus played cricket as a Child (ANI newsitem) 10th August.

In that you have quoted Prof. Abraham Terian as saying :

"He (Jesus) would take the boys to the seashore and carrying the

playing ball and the club, he would go over the waves of the sea

as though he was playing on a frozen surface, hitting the playing ball.

And watching him, the boys would scream and say: 'Watch the child

Jesus, what he does over the waves over the sea!'. Many would

gather there and, watching him, would be amazed".

 

Careful reading of the above leads to two questions

Did Jesus play Cricket or Base Ball? because the word used is the club.

Was Jesus the first known surfer who conquered the waves?

The second newsitem SERPENTINE RESCUE -- Wednesday August 6, Parel.

Therein HT has published a telling photograph of a serpent being pinned

down and the veterinarian at the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

injecting him antibiotics.

 

The questions that arise are :

1.. Isn't injecting a serpent with deadly antibiotic (against life poison) amount to cruelty?

2.. For someone's business and profit why the animal should suffer mutely?

3.. Have you taken the serpent's informed consent before injecting it?

4.. After giving it antibiotic injection have you "researched" what effect that antibiotic

had on the poor serpent?

5.. Any peer reviewed, concoted research papers published, authenticated by

the serpent family?

 

Biblical serpent must be repenting for enticing Eve to eat the fruit of the

Tree of Knowledge that led to the production of human beings.... because

till that time Adam did not know what to do with Eve !!!

 

In the name of Animal welfare human beggars are having big business.

There are animal homes, animal hospitals, animal ambulances and the Fire

Brigade rescuing a crow or pigeon becomes a big news, but if a person is

dying on the road nobody bothers.

 

I have seen many animal lovers (those who love dogs, cats, horses)

eating chicken, goat, cow meat, feasting on pig (scavenger animal),

pigeon (for hot blood/or aphrodisiac), frog legs (delicacy they say), etc.

 

I have a fascinating business idea in keeping with HT special feature

on new business ideas. Why not start a House of Worship for all

these animals? But the problem will be what prayers and which

language you will use to teach them prayer or meditation?

 

Instead why not animal language and animal management technique,

and animal compassion and live without any communal and casteist

cancers?
