Guest guest
Dear All, Further to my prev. msg on the subject I am providing here the link for Scientific American http://www.sciam.com/report.cfm?id=lhc-countdown & sc=IDR_lhc-countdown This provides a good amount of information on the Features which will be influenced by the Large Hadron Collider which is the world's biggest Science Expt. to be conducted on 10th Sept. The various sub links also provide details of what changes is expected to influence the life on the planet. Also here's how it will search for the Higgs boson, dark matter and supersymmetry. Members interested in Science esp. Physics may have a look into the links. Vnsharma Dear All, There is going to be a Great Leap Forward in the development of Physics, and in other words Science. On 10th Sept. an Expt will be conducted at CERN laboratory at Geneva, Switzerland by moving Protons at 1.90K, at the speed very close to the velocity of light, in many laps around 27 km lond ring of Large Hadron Collider (believed to be daddy of all particle Accelerators) to finally collide with the protons coming from opposite direction. The data and other informations like new particles etc will be a product of this expt. which is expected to bring about revolutionary changes in our knowledge of Physics. May pl. read some more details in the links below? http://www.newscientist.com/channel/fundamentals/large-hadron-collider/mg19926711.300?DCMP=NLC-nletter & nsref=mg19926711.300 http://technology.newscientist.com/channel/tech/mg19926711.400-large-hadron-collider-extreme-machine.html -- Dr.V.N.Sharmahttp://canvas.nowpos.com/vnsharma--'>http://canvas.nowpos.com/vnsharma-- Dr.V.N.Sharmahttp://canvas.nowpos.com/vnsharma
