Helen Keller Today's EFT Quote: "My friend is an EFT practitioner and I have started using it on myself and wife - amazing - my wife, totally disbelieving, allowed me to use it on her when she was very very angry - 10 minutes later she was stunned to realise that not only was she not angry but all her muscle tension had been released." It clearly points to "hidden" core issues and how to bring them out. At one point in his article John says, "Again she could not see how this "insignificant" event had any bearing on her current fears as a thirty-something woman. I asked about the wall-paper, the carpet, the smells, the sounds - at this point she noticeably winced....." Email John and Visit his website Featured Article #2: Uterine cancer reversal: Damaris Drewry, PhD, after undergoing a lot of personal stress, developed uterine cancer. This article is about how she reversed it and some of the EFT approaches she used. She says, "Six days later, when the pathologist (in the operating room) biopsied the organs removed by the surgeon there was NO CANCER left and I have needed no cancer treatment in the 18 months following surgery." Note: Although EFT has been reported to aid cancer recovery, one should consult with a qualified physician regarding its possible use for cancer. She says, "Rachel concluded that while she had a high sense of self-worth and confidence, she had been hindered by a system of beliefs about men and their inability to communicate and engage in relationships." Email Cathleen Past Articles from the EFT Website Getting Over "Love Pain": EFT is an essential tool for all forms of love relationship problems. In this detailed article by Raul Vergini, MD, a woman was beset by "love pain" because her boy friend was having an affair. Dr. Vergini takes us step by step through the process, including the conversations and language, so that we can learn from the details. Please note that he addresses the problem by using EFT on her physical discomforts rather than go head-on with her emotional intensity. This is often a useful approach and frequently gives the client relief without emotional anguish. Superb job by Dr. Vergini. Using EFT for Parkinson's Disease: Even though the client in this case achieved astonishing results with EFT, we must puzzle over why the client stopped using it. Why, if the results are so far beyond what could be expected with conventional healing procedures, does the client ignore the process in the future? This is one of our EFT mysteries. It parallels, I think, the mystery as to why some patients do not take medications recommended by their doctor. Also, please note that the results are achieved even though the practitioner (Henry Davies from the UK) applied EFT while still a relative newcomer. Further note that everything was done within one session. Growing Betty's Business - Using our business principles in practice: In this well written article by Betty Moore-Hafter, we see many of the EFT principles in Building a Thriving Practice unfold as a true success story. Read it carefully and draw your own parallels to Betty's case. There is much to learn here. Read it carefully and draw your own parallels to Betty's case. There is much to learn here. Note how she uses these principles to go from "I have a small private practice in Burlington, VT." to "I have a thriving national and international practice based in Burlington, VT." Using EFT for self-confidence in a specific area: Here is a use for EFT that applies to almost everyone at one time or another. Raul Vergini, MD (from Italy) uses EFT along with some self-confidence belief statements to help a competitive motorcycle rider with his self-confidence. This type of procedure is enormously valuable just before any sports, acting or music performance. It's also indispensable for the student before taking a test ... or for the speaker before that all important speech ... or for the fumbling teenager about to go on his/her first date ... or for human pursuits of almost any kind. "Acceptance Tapping" - A powerful EFT treatment variation for severe compulsive disorders and bulimia: David Lake, MD from Australia provides us with an easy-to-use approach that has proven effective for even the most difficult of cases....such as OCD and Bulimia. He calls it "Acceptance Tapping" and, in essence, he has the client accept their condition the way it is without trying to change it. They simply tap continually while the behavior is going on. Newcomer uses EFT to collapse his own panic-attacks and writes letter to "Quackwatch": It is common for completely new innovations to have skeptics ... and EFT is no exception. Interestingly, those opposed to EFT and its many cousins have one thing in common, namely, they have not taken the time to get adequate training in the process. One such group of skeptics is QuackWatch.com. Paul Gray, as you will see in his letter below, wrote to QuackWatch as a newcomer to EFT. He discusses how he tried many procedures for his panic-attacks and, for the first time ever, achieved impressive success. I thought you might like to read his letter.
