Guest guest
Hello, I'm a crystal healer wannabe. :-) But i have a strong aversion to rules, so I " m going about this totally intuitively. Well, not totally, as I've been inspired by the works of Katrian Raphael and Melody. I gather stones as I feel them at gem shows and out on hiking trails. I even have a wonderful friend in Oregon who has taken to sending me rocks. I ask the stone what it's healing purpose is and go with that. If I dont' get a clear response, back out into the sunlight it goes. I mostly work with the 7 major bodily chakras and the associated colors. I've been thinking about getting a 'chakra set' of stones, specifically spheres in the 7 colors or appoximately the same size. Though pyramids or eggs, or whatever shape would do. My quesiotn for the list is, does anyone out there have such a chakra set of stones, and how do you use them? I'd like to get a set of spheres and use them for basic full chakra (full body) balancing, as opposed to single chakra work. Any advice or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Have a great day, Love, Lorelei ===== ************************ * www.tarotgoddess.net * ************************ HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs http://www.hotjobs.com
Guest guest
Hi! I am moving toward an intuitive, right-brained approach for crystal healing, also...aided by my pendulum. I have started acquiring spheres, kind of by " accident. " They're appealing, aren't they? The first one I got was a small tiger iron sphere. It has red jasper, hematite, and tiger's eye swirled in bands that make it look like a little planet--like Jupiter, actually! People are really drawn to it and it's *great* for the base chakra. Some people have actually felt heat coming from it, " like a little heater, " one woman said. I also have amethyst, purple fluorite, rhodochrosite (I think -- it's the pink stone with white, not black -- I get it and rhodonite mixed up), a nice soft yellow aragonite, an orangy red jasper that would be good for 2nd chakra...I'd like to get lapis, blue quartz, and chrysocolla. The only problem is getting the things to stay on the chakras. I guess the little plastic stands that come with them for display purposes would work--has any tried these? Putting the little stand on the chakra site and then resting the sphere in it. I don't think that would work for the throat, however, or even the third eye. Good luck and let us know how working with the spheres proceeds! HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs http://www.hotjobs.com

I do use chakra layouts on occasion and have several different sets I tend to use tumbled stones and know others who prefer cabochons for laying on the chakra as spheres are likely to roll off and hard to tape on . but for holding spheres would work find sometimes a whole chakra layout can be a bit much, some people do seem to get headaches from a brow stone so sometimes if It feels right I may leave that off .
