Hi there, I was in London recently and met a practitioner who is

involved with a new organisation Acupuncture Sans Frontiers. ASF

practitioners go into trauma and disaster areas and administer

acupuncture and primary care treatments.

I am writing an article for the Acupuncture Network Australasia

homepage and am wanting more information (my contact in London is

away, I think in Sri Lanka).

If anyone has more information, could you please email me?

Cheers

Katherine

Dear All,

I am also very interested in this all. I am a brazilian pharmacist who is

now studying medicine and also a member of the Brazilian Red Cross. I have

recently completed a course of TUI-NA and become fascinated for the traditional

chinese medicine, I think it adapts perfectly to my dreams of becoming a

phamily practioner in the brazilian most distant fields, where I have already

worked as a pharmacist and medical chemistry technitian, so I am about to learn

acumpucture. I am about to propose a project to the Brazilian Red Cross to use

the TUI-NA (and TCM) with victims of trauma, particulary those who suffered

urban violence.

I would like to know more about those programs and projects, and also

have suggestions from those who already does something alike.

Thank you very much!!!

(and forgive my english spelling and mistakes...)
