Guest guest
This is one of the first paragraphs in " Beliefs, Pathways to Health and Well-Being " by Robert Dilts. ________ I first began exploring the proceses involved in changing beliefs in earnest when my mother had a recurrance of breast cancer in 1982 with a fairly wide degree of metastasis..... ....recurrance of breast cancer that metastated to her skull, spine ribs and pelvis. The doctors gave her a poor prognosis and basically said that they would do what they could to, " make her comfortable. " My mother and I spent four long days working with her beliefs about herself and her illness. I used every NLP technique that seemed appropriate. It was exausting work for her. When we wern't working she ate or slept. I assisted my mother in changing a number of limiting beliefs and helper her to integrate magor conflicts that had developed in her life because of all the changes that had occured. As a result of the work we did wth her beliefs , she was able to make dramatic improvements in her health and elected not to receive chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or any other traditional therapy. At the time of writing this book, 7 years later, she is in excelent health and there are no further cancer symptoms.... ________ Doc, I now understand what you mean when you stated that Theta Healing draws much from Robert Dilts. William Leigh I also picked up Edgar Cayce, Attitudes and Emotions that you mentioned. Good material. Thanks again!

You are welcome William. You are intelligent so you will easily UNDERSTAND the book. My caution to you is 'understanding' is NOT the same as 'knowing how to do it'. And it is NOT easy. Much calibration needs to be learned so you can access what their real inner feelings are, then help them change the beliefs that need to be changed for healing to occur (which is what my entire Intensive is on starting today). I have yet to see ANYONE change someone's beliefs just by doing theta healing. Now at the theta healing events I've participated in I saw many women 'think' they were changing others deep structure beliefs by doing that process, but the evidence was otherwise. Which they did not see because they lacked any type of trained calibration skills. John La Tourrette, PhD > William Leigh > > I also picked up Edgar Cayce, Attitudes and Emotions that you mentioned.
