Father element? (Was Four Needle Technique)

Hi,

 

I never heard of it referred to as the " father " element. I've always

learned that there are 3 relationships between the 5 Elements:

Grandmother, Mother, and Son.

 

For example,

Take the Wood Element. It is the mother of Fire, son of Water, and

Grandmother of Earth. I supposed you can say that it is the grandson

of Metal but they usually say it the other way around, that Metal is

the Grandmother of Wood.

 

Anyway, the idea is the same...
