Not at all ever but it could explain why we have been selling so much more

of it as late.

I've heard of that but think that besides the fact that stones don't

require cleansing nearly as much as people do. I think that if

cleansing were needed there are many ways that would be more practical

and less likely to damage some crystals. I have a little piece of

Phylite which became saturated when my healing liniment oil spilled.

The oil does have eucalyptus in it. This changed the color of the

stone but did not hurt the energy at all. I don't think it cleansed

the energy either. The Phylite stone is happily dedicated to healing

and pain relief which is what the liniment was for and until then I had

hesitated to put the Phylite on injured areas where oil was in use

because the stone is sort of porous .

There was an article I saw recently and news reports about a medical

study on the use of Eucalyptus oil for colds and other illness with very

positive results and aired on or near the same days as stories about

the dangers of some common over the counter cold meds. So it was

like " Don't give your baby " --- " for a cold it could destroy her

brain " followed by a report that " studies show that folk remedy

Eucalyptus oil is more effective for colds than " --- " with fewer harmful

side effects " . This may have something to do with the run on the oil

at your store.

The only true way to cleanse a stone is with spring water and sea salt, the

organic kind, let it sit in the solution over night and at sunrise throw the

water out to the east,and air dry the stone, I am a cherokee Spiritual

My clear quartz sometimes request to be soaked in salt water with essential oil.

They usually request Myrrh or Frankensence. There are many ways to cleanse

crystals. Do what feels right as long as it won't damage the crystal.
