I have found Rainbow Moonstone to be wonderfully protective.

I have a question to pose to all of you. If you had to choose 1 or 2 stones

to use on a necklace for protection. Which ones would you use?

Thanks for your time :)

I like hematite! Many others come to mind, but it's easier to narrow

it down to one than to two for some reason...

Thank you all for you answers to my questions. I already have amythest as

representing another individual, so I am not going to use that as my

protection stone. I have decided that I am going to use Hemetite and

Quartz. Basically becasue they are good protecting stones, they are ones

that I work well with, and they are black and white, which I think will aid

in their protecting abilities.

Thanks again :)

This is twice I have heard of malachite to absorb the

radiation....thanks to everyone's answers and to the person who asked

the question. This is a big concern for me since I get over 8 hours a

day exposure to computers and monitors. Sounds like a good reason to

go shopping and get some nice crystals :-)

Hugs and kisses,

I have a rose quartz, hematite necklace I wear during my healings.

I made it. I was lucky enough to find a rose quartz flower that hangs

over myheart chakra.

75% of my clients had entities with them. I guess the rose quartz

keeps the love flowing and the hematite for the protection. There has

been a few times I had to grab my black obsidian and hold it between

me and the entity. thats a power stone for me.

blessings to you and yours,

Hello,

This in my first post to the list, so I thought I'd say 'hi' and thank you for

the fascinating messages you all make.

I was wondering - this may seem like a novice question, but - protection against

what? Is the specific menace irrelevant to the solution?

Thanks, allay

Hi Allay...

I'm fairly new to the list too, and I just tend to lurk. I do learn so much

though... Just wanted to say hello. When I work on protection...it protection

from whatever might do harm...I don't have specific things in mind, for the most

part. Others might. I don't know.

Hello to everyone else too!

Love and Hugs,

Serena--coming out of lurkdom briefly.

Hi allay, and welcome,

Your asking what kind of protection it is being sought is not a naive

question at all. As a matter of fact, this was my question as well! I read

the post, and thought about the many stones that offer protective vibrations

in so many ways - and knew that what type of help being sought was really the

key to the issue. In fact I saved the post, to ask the question this morning

when I had more time - now I don't have to - you just did. Glad to have you

with us,

Evelyn

Hi Anna,

I just received about 5 pieces of malachite from the congo....the pieces are

about the size of your fist and smaller. The prices range from $20 and up.

Let me know if you want pics

Hi Allay,

Protection from electromagnetic frequencies, radiation, etc from the

monitor...or actually could be from a TV, microwave, etc.

Thanks to Everyone for all the suggestions! I have a big chunk of black

tourmaline on my desk. I was asking for a friend who wanted to know

what other stones could be used. You guys are great!

I apologize if my question was not complete.

The kind of protection that I am looking for is just general protection from

general things. I want to make a necklace for a group of friends of mine,

that would include the stones that represent each of them, and then the

protection stones in between those representative stones.

I wasn't looking to protect from anything in particular, just a necklace

that would give off protective vibes. :)

Hope that helps to clear things up a bit :)

Just also to reply to the person who asked " protection from

what " --besides EMF and other radiation, some of us also use stones &

crystals to protect ourselves from negative vibrations that we might

pick up in our daily routines. For example, if you have an

conflictual situation at work or home, or if you are exposed to

people's negativity a lot, then a protective stone would be a good

thing to use, particularly if you are a very sensitive or empathic

person.

Getting fancier, some people seem to encounter actual unwanted or

negative entities: spirit forms, and some stones have the reputation

of protecting against that as well.

Well..I chose the stones based on the names of the people they

represent...so that when others needed the protection from the group, it

would be easy to quickly remember the names of the people :)

I am using a Malachite, Amythyst, Garnet, Carnelian, Sodalite, Citrine,

Lapis, Rhodenite (I think that is what it was), Turquise, Tiger Eye, Moss

Agate, Flourite, and Bloodstone. Then on between these stones prolly in

alternating so that it goes Representing Stone, Quartz, Hemetite, Quartz,

Representing Stone, Hemetite, Quartz, HEmetite, Representing stone...and so

on and so forth. :)

Hope that satisfy's your curiosity :)
