Guest guest
Wow! Thanks for your insights. Without necessarily knowing the specifics of where I'm at, you made a couple of comments that confirmed a few things I've been " chewing " on. And you're right...all this radical change is quite thrilling, even if it IS scaring the sh!t out of me! Guest guest
OK, is the height of scizophrenia replying to your own messages? lol! I'm asking that all you fine folks send some positive vibes my way. I'm in negotiations for a high-level position with a DoD contractor and have been visualizing receiving an offer from them that is mutually beneficial. This is part of my transition out of what I've been doing for the past 26 years into the next step along the path. I'll be back on the air in a couple days. Going to Vermont to think. Hey Doc, I don't quite understand exactly how to implement this, and it is important to me. In another post, you mentioned how various people's personalities affected their use of the marketing systems you taught them. So I'm curious... ....because the Byron Katie's of this world are into 'ending the war with reality' and 'accepting what is', and most of what I do I'm driven to do because I don't 'accept what is'. Apparently, if I let go of all my resistance to 'what is', then the right course of action will spontaneously arise through 'non-doing', or I'll go broke and starve to death, whichever comes first. ....and then some of my emotions will tell me not to do some things because I'm afraid of them. But maybe the secret to success is 'courage', and 'self-discipline' and making yourself do things even if you don't feel you want to. Cos EFT will change your emotions in a heartbeat... so how do I know which one to change? ....or maybe I should just 'follow my bliss' and perhaps the next step is to sit on the couch and drink beer... but that doesn't seem right somehow. Ah, if only I had a 'burning desire for riches' it would all be so easy. But life is often a conflicting mass of desires for different things, leaving no single strong direction. So any more specific how-tos on finding the fuel and feeding the fire would be very welcome... Phil

There are a lot more where that came from. Do these. Hey Juan, Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. As is so often the way, posting my post got me thinking about the problem. And when I read your post, I thought: 'Hmmm, this is good advice, I know these things intellectually, so why don't I do them?' What I figured out was exactly what you posted above: 'Easy if you treat this project as if you were going to reprogram a client.' Because what happens is that I don't notice the subtle build-up of negativity changing my daily state - the creeping pessimism, frustration and other junk that builds up. Until before you know it I'm stuck in some terrible state and cut off from all the good things I know how to do. Sure enough today I got dissociated enough from my state to consider it objectively and do some rounds of EFT. Now the pendulum swings back in the other direction. Time to implement daily state monitoring and if I find it less than entirely positive and optimistic, do some drills to correct. Thanks for your help old son, Phil

Hi Houston, Thank you for this, it's interesting. Just out of curiousity, how many people do you know who actually live like this in contemporary Western urban society for longer than a week? Please understand that it seems so far removed from what I'm used to as everyday human experience that it is difficult to imagine or comprehend. But then I started to have my doubts when I read Eckhart Tolle talking about how he spent two years sitting on park benches in states of unalloyed bliss. It's not that I doubt the possibility or even necessarily the value, I just have a hard time seeing how it works out. I guess it's because I've always believed the point of life is to mature by getting stuff done, and this seems to be predicated on the idea that what you do is much less important than how you feel while you're doing it. I'd be interested to know what you think. Cheers, Phil
Guest guest
Hi Phil, I hope you don't mind be butting in and answering. I've just been listening to Ken Wilbers tape set called Kosmic conciousness. Ken is one of the leading writers and " philosophers " in the area of nondual/acceptance of what is, and you can do a lot worse than read one of his books about it. Anyway in his tape set he gets asked the same question and his answer is very very few. something like less than 1% of anyway living today. I don't think that it needs to be that way though, there are ways of entering into that peace that are getting faster and simpler than any other time in history. You can work with byron Katies methods and in a few hours experience profound states of unity, peace acceptance of what is. Her methods are very simple but equally profound. When I first started working with her techniques I felt like I had woken up from a 15 year tantrum. incredible feeling. Chris
Guest guest
Hi Cris, , " hunter.cris " <hunter.cris@w...> wrote: > Hi, > what is a tower of power and how do you anchor to it? > > Cris The Tower of Power is something like the Circle of Excellence only amped up and even more strongly anchored. Doc does have a course on it. It's damn good too. You can Google " Circle of Excellence " + " NLP " to get an idea of what it is. ....And of course always ask, " How else can I use this? " At one of the last seminars of Doc's I had the privilege of attending, Doc took something like the Tower of Power, melded it to a few other techniques, and turned it into a vehicle of change so powerful no one could even think of a NAME for it. Something like " Shatter Your OLD Image Of You And Replace It With A NEW YOU With GODLIKE POWERS!!! " That may be a little overboard. OR that description may not even BEGIN to do it justice. All the best, -Mark
Guest guest
" PILLARS OF POWER " !!! " PILLARS OF POWER " !!! Not Tower of Power! That was a funk band in the 70's... And I have the video on my shelf right here. PILLARS OF POWER, of course... ....And I'm NOT talking about Jim's " pen " ... -Mark ;-) (Thanks Doc Vetter.) , " Mark Holt " <severian6@h...> wrote: > Hi Cris, > > healingenergies- essentialskills , " hunter.cris " > <hunter.cris@w...> wrote: > > Hi, > > what is a tower of power and how do you anchor to it? > > > > Cris > > The Tower of Power is something like the Circle of Excellence only > amped up and even more strongly anchored. > > Doc does have a course on it. > > It's damn good too. > > You can Google " Circle of Excellence " + " NLP " to get an idea of what > it is. > > ...And of course always ask, " How else can I use this?
