Guest guest
Hi all, I was talking with a friend of mine a little while ago who also practices Qigong and who wanted to know if I wanted to get together at such and such a time and do Qigong each day. I said sure, then mentioned to him that my teacher instructed me to do Qigong at specific times of the day, twice a day, in order to get the maximum benefit. I try to make an effort to do it at the specificed times if I can, though if I do it at a different time it's better than not doing it at all. My friend had never heard of that before and seemed to think I was given a bunch of BS. Was I?? Anyway, I said to him, I've always noticed a marked difference if I do it at certain times of the day. He laughed and said, that maybe it's power of suggestion too. Well, to get to the point, I had a revelation today which is probably really OLD news for others in this group. When I look at the Meridian Flow Wheel, page 126 of the EM book I see exactly why my teacher specificed those times for me, and also that the times are at a yin time and a yang time directly opposite each other for balance. I love it when a whole lot of seemingly unrelated things start to fall into place and begin to make sense. Time to turn in. Regards!
