Guest guest
>Bottom line question; when dealing with valid secondary gain issues, >what have you found to be the best approach. > > thanks John I am curious about how a 'secondary gain' of an insurance claim can be a valid issue for healing? In fact, " NOT healing " is more in line with getting the goodies, ie, the monies, the disability and the help from others to 'do for them' instead of doing for self. I've one ex-client that did NOT heal until she had been given permanent disability from the state. Then, PRESTO-WHAMO, she was healed. At least she was healed enough to take that monthly money and have much fun spending it, and most of her physical/mental issues were gone. Of course I am sure that when she gets re-evaluated by the state's Psychiatrist she will have a relaspe and still be 'not able to take care of herself'.
