Guest guest
Maybe someone out there can shed some light for me. I have recently tried acupuncture to help ease chronic sinus headaches. But on both visits to the practitioner, I had a strong reaction to the treatment - becoming clammy, very hot inside but cold outside, and waves of nausea. The effect seemed cumulative (it didn't happen all at once, but got gradually more unbearable as more needles were inserted) and was not diminished by needles at the traditional restorative points. Several years ago I had the same response (while seeing a different practitioner). And it happened last fall during a reflexology session! I have been reassured that some people just react this way and that it is nothing to worry about, but I am curious... Any educated guesses appreciated. Thanks in advance. BTW, treatments have been suspended (if not abandoned) but my herb doses have been increased.
