Guest guest
If you wish to know about REAL codes instead of these suppressive AMA codes....look for the next issue of AT. There is an article written by the CEO of Alternative Link. Guest guest
No they are not going to pay for 45 mins of acupuncture treatment. Depending on the policy, first 15 mins. will be paid 100% and second 15 mins. will be paid at a discount. In what case would you need to needle someone for 45 mins.? Your question does not make sense. If you are treating different illness than treat it on seperate days if you want to be paid for all the illness seperately if not I cant not see in any situation where you would need to needle and bill insurance company for 45 mins. And dont bill insurance company for moxa or cupping, you will not get paid. And if you do it will be very little. Use 97124 for tuina in conjuction with your 97810 and 97811 than you should get paid anywhere from $90 to $120. 97810=$45,97811=$45,97124=$50 and if it is work men's comp use 97813 and 97814. acupuncture , drjudyhou@a... wrote: > > Hi, Bob, > Your mean is one session acupuncture treatment you should bill two-three > codes.
